Beautiful Resort!
Loved this resort! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left staff were so friendly. This resort is so beautiful and quaint. Staff work very hard at keeping this resort very clean. Room was very spacious. Loved the balcony. Buffet breakfast was so good. Lots of food options. Speciality restaurants were delicious. My personal favourite was the Asian. We went there twice. Big selection of drinks by the pool bars. Had the best espresso martini at the lobby bar. Nightly entertainment was fabulous. Would definitely return to this resort. Highly recommend!

Fantastic vacation at Catalonia Royal Tulum
Just returned to Canada after vacationing at Catalonia Royal Tulum. It was our second time at this resort. We chose this resort specifically because it was a smaller quieter resort surrounded by the jungle. All staff were exceptional and made sure I was well taken care of as I have a severe dairy allergy. All staff who worked at reception, buffets and à la cartes (kitchen and front line staff) were extremely helpful, thoughtful and careful with all of my requirements. A big shout out to Quetzabel at the breakfast and lunch buffet. She went through each dish at the buffet stations to explain which ones would be safe to eat, specifically asked the kitchen to prepare any food (chicken, salad, pork, pancakes) in a non-contaminated area with no dairy ingredients and utensils that had not been in contact with dairy products. Daniella (concierge) checked in on us frequently to make sure everything was going well and that I did not have any reactions. She also made sure that all restaurants for dinner were aware of my allergy and to make sure my food was prepared in a non-contaminated areas. To everyone at Catalonia thank you for all that you have done to make our stay a wonderful and relaxing vacation.

Great time!
The animation team was absolutely amazing! A huge thank you to Diego, Leo, Pau, Eddy, and Cuellar for making our stay so much fun. They were always energetic, friendly, and made everyone feel welcome. There were plenty of great activities every day, and they always created a fantastic atmosphere. Thank you all for the unforgettable memories—we hope to see you again!

The hotel staff are very welcoming such as Juan in the Starkville restaurant who was really attentive and helpful. Sunbed availability is really good even into the latter half of the morning. The choice of food is absolutely fantastic. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is upgrading to Privilege as we didn’t believe it was good value for money. The rooms are modern with large bathrooms and the bed is very comfortable.
