The resort is the perfect size with many things to do, great shows each night, exceptional staff, drinks and food! Grounds are very well kept and there is plenty of pool space. The air conditioners work great too!
Secrets Akumal was everything people said it would be from the staff to the vibe. Rooms were spacious and AC worked perfectly. We were in building 9 so we were far from everyone but close to the gym so we didn’t mind since we worked out in the mornings and walked off all the food we ate 😂 Drinks kept coming and once the server knows you by face or the spot your in daily he or she will have your drinks before even asking. The blackberry martini is amazing and besides that it was only don julio or Johnny Walker/ginger ale. Mexican restaurant was my favorite restaurant and the shows all had amazing buffets. French restaurant had an amazing surf and turf but theirs a little wait maybe short staffed. Breakfast and lunch buffet was small but could all ways find something. Beach was clear and could see some fish but we also paid 50 dollars to do a snorkel excursion with pictures included.
We had an amazing time at this resort! we loved everything about it! the food variety, the many local touches and the attention to detail. They really ensure you are happy and enjoying your time. The quality of food and drinks is top notch! the entertainment is absolutely incredible, their theme nights , the location is beautiful! we have absolutely nothing negative to share. we had a very good vacation especially Ana and the manager of the kitchen buffet was very kind his name was Eliazar see photo and Xavier. also the people at the beach working very hard to get the sargussum to a minimum special thanks to that team very hot and hard work. also the garden cleaners it was beautiful! swimmingpools all clean lots to do. Ari Ari with the entertainment she was keeping us busy with here games. Also a special thanks to xavier! he knew every morning what we wanted.
Me and my husband went on our honeymoon trip to Secrets Akumal and had the best time. All staff was friendly and made sure you were taken care of. Food was amazing, but didn’t know that most of the restaurants had dress codes. Resort was kept nice and clean. Already talking about going back!
