Located on prime beachfront property, this all-inclusive resort enjoys dazzling views of the Caribbean, a magnificent white-sand beach and crystal-clear waters surrounded by tropical foliage. Facilities include a 24-hour reception, currency exchange, lift, a hairdresser and an auditorium. Younger guests will love the children's playground and kids' club. Meals are served in the café, pub and there is a choice of bars and restaurants. There are also conference facilities, wireless Internet access, room service, a laundry service (for a fee) and a car park.
Guest are required to make advance reservations for the restaurants Sensai, Rittrato d´Italia and Villamarina.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We spent the week being treated to excellent Privelage Butler Service from Carlos! He was so helpful and attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We are looking forward to our next holiday trip here and will seek out Carlos when we do! Also, the rest of the resort staff were also very friendly and helpful. We recommend this resort to anyone.
We were treated extremely well throught our trip but the very end was the highlight of it all we dined at the blue moon and had an absolutely amazing experience we were helped thoroughly by manager Juan taking pictures of us and chef Marcos made quite possibly the best French onion soup I have ever had and I cannot stress enough how the waiters Aurelio, Marisela and Alets tended to our every need I will always recommend ocean turquesa to the day I die
can't say enough about the kindness of the people here. In a world where real hospitality is rare, this hotel gets it right. They remembered small details, checked in to make sure we were comfortable, and treated me like family rather than guests. You feel the family atmosphere in the best way. Lovely hotel, amazing food, absolutely lovely cafe (Mike's), lovely friendly staff, I personally loved the quiet pool and the gym, my 7yr old daughter fell in love with Lluvia at the kids club and had a brilliant time with her for two weeks, my teen sons loved playing water activities in the fun pool with the bar. Foam pool parties were much fun for all. The Sensai and Mexican restaurants were lovely too, though a bit of a struggle to book them. Privilege folk also got ahead of us. Unfortunate about the seaweed situation too and the hotel could have definitely done more cleaning so it doesn't mount up so badly, though it wouldn't have been possible to get into the sea either way, given they couldn't use nets due to the local coral reef. Booked an amazing boat trip via Fransisco at the water sports hut by the pool. He was great to find us a good private boat to Isla Mujeres. Beautiful beach out there.. A trip to Chichenitsa and senote is a must for all. Overall, a great family holiday. Would love to experience it with beach access outside the seaweed season and also after the planned refurbishment.
The hotel is located about 25–30 minutes from the airport. The resort is spacious and well laid out. We stayed in the adults-only section, which I highly recommend. The adults-only pool was clean and spacious, with a restaurant reserved exclusively for adults right in front of it, a great plus for peace and comfort. In comparison, the two other pools on the resort were much more crowded, which meant they were less well-maintained: there was sand at the bottom and the water was a bit murky. That said, the atmosphere remained fun and lively. At the time of our stay (June 2025), the beach was completely inaccessible due to a large accumulation of seaweed (sargassum). Unfortunately, this significantly impacted our overall experience, as we weren’t able to enjoy the ocean. In addition, there was a persistent smell of sulfur in the air, especially in the mornings, something to keep in mind if you’re pregnant or sensitive to smells, as it can cause nausea. That being said, the staff truly exceeded our expectations. We were a group celebrating a bachelorette party, and the team went out of their way to make us feel special throughout the trip: organized activities, little gifts, surprises, and warm, attentive service. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised. The meals were tasty and varied, with several à la carte restaurants and great cocktails. One downside, however, was the restaurant reservation system: you have to book very early the same morning, and spots fill up quickly. There’s no option to book in advance, which can be frustrating if you don’t wake up early enough. Overall, it was a lovely experience, with a few areas for improvement. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5.
