We had a great time like usual we’re owners and we look forward to coming back every other year every year we spend at least two weeks at the Royal Hacienda and next year we’ll spend two weeks at the Royal Sands my brother and I own two weeks of both places like usual. It’s always such a good time.
Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect! When we got to our villa (And we got a whole villa, even though I made 2 separate reservations for 5 of us), it was decorated for my birthday, even though nobody in our party notified the resort of the occasion. That kind of attention to detail is what people remember for a lifetime. Aside from that, service at the pool, La Palapa (with only one exception), Kinoko, Los Murales and The Rotunda was really second to none. Food quality was excellent even in the eyes of my somewhat foodie son-in-law. I would say a couple of disappointments (understandable due to low occupancy and the fact that it's so close to maintenance week) was no dinner buffet option on "Mexican night." That's where I like to try a little bit of every regional food option, and I missed that! Also, some dessert options listed on the menu were not available - like creme brulee. The activity staff was also exceptional, especially Marco and Hector, but all of them were great! The villa was immaculate, and the whole resort is well maintained. We had a great 4 days!
My husband and I really enjoyed our week vacation here, which was the week of Labor Day. No crowds, just laid back and relaxed at the pool. Food options are great and service is wonderful. Many options available for activities on resort and day excursions. Easy travel from Cancun airport.
My family has been coming here for 19yrs. It is my 6th time and always a pleasure to see the resort employees. They are very professional and treats every guest at their highest level of hospitality. From beginning of check in with the afternoon crew (Edin, Susan, Samuel & Rico) to the end of our check out crew (Rene, Alfredo, Israel & Rosi) and to our main Bellman, Santiago. The restaurant hostess, Luisa and Manager Luis who always checks in on their guest and the meals. Lastly, to the activities crew (Jamir, Charlie, Hector, Jesus, Marco, Karim) who ALWAYS made every guest stay very enjoyable.
The newly made jetty is a nice addition in the resort. Hopefully they continue to work on it and use more bigger rocks and better seaweed neeting to be able to enjoy the beach more than just using the pools.
