Platinum Yucatan Princess

We had a fabulous vacation at Princess Yucatán Platinum. What a beautiful resort. Spacious, clean rooms, lots of pools, theatre shows and activities. The cuisine was top notch! Various restaurants, and the main buffet was very impressive. Such a variety of theme nights and delicious dishes. The food was important in our hotel selection and this place certainly delivered. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Special shout-out to Amaury (our bellhop) who put a smile on our faces every day. He was super helpful, friendly and fun. Another goes to Bryan (server) who was always entertaining, positive and attentive. Everyone from the chefs, to the front desk staff, to the cleaners, made our stay very comfortable. We'll definitely be returning!

Had a wonderful two weeks at the hotel. Super relaxing stay during the quiet season, and all services were 10/10. Spa services by Diana, Marcelina and Maria were the perfect start to our vacation. The buffet and 4 restaurants on site had very nice food, both Mexican and international quisines, and the service by Karen, Miguel and Bryan was nice and welcoming. Our bartender, Fernando, made amazing cocktails, which he personalized for us when we wanted to try something off menu. The room was nice and clean, and felt very private and luxurious. Finally, we really recommend you book a tequila tasting with Miguel Luna, who is extremely knowledgeable and during the tasting explained the process of making tequila, and it’s origins.

From the moment I booked my stay, Sheila Paulette Cruz was absolutely amazing.

About an hour after making my reservation, I contacted the hotel because I wanted to arrange a birthday surprise for my best friend. The hotel gave me Paulette’s contact information around 10 PM. I honestly thought it might be too late to message her, but I reached out anyway, and she responded almost immediately.

From that first conversation, she went above and beyond. She sent me a full picture menu of decoration options and helped me choose exactly what I wanted. She offered to assist with dinner reservations, champagne, transportation information, and anything else I might need. She also helped arrange a birthday cake and sent me an incredible list of flavors to choose from. I ended up requesting a flavor combination that was not even on the list, and she still made it happen.

Paulette did not simply take my requests and disappear. She stayed in communication with me before the trip, checked in again before we arrived, reminded me about the arrangements, and continued checking on us throughout our stay. She even helped me think through different ways to surprise my friend with the cake and was willing to coordinate with other staff members to make everything come together.

What impressed me most was that I never felt like she was just trying to sell me extras. She genuinely cared that everything was arranged properly and that we were happy. She made sure I felt completely accommodated from beginning to end.

The room decorations were beautiful, the surprise stayed a complete secret, the cake was wonderful, and the entire experience came together better than I could have planned on my own.

Paulette was kind, responsive, patient, helpful, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. She truly helped turn this trip into a special memory for us.
