An Amazing Stay with Exceptional Service
spent six wonderful nights at the resort with my partner, and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. What stood out the most was the kindness, warmth, and professionalism of the staff in every area of the resort. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
I would especially like to mention the pool bartenders, Sebastián and Pascual (the younger one). Thank you both for your great service, friendly attitude, and for always making us feel welcome!
A big thank you to the entire team for making our vacation such a wonderful and memorable experience. We truly appreciate all your hard work and hospitality!
La Perla - Playa del Carmen
What an amazing experience. My wife and I are celebrating our 60th birthdays and had the chance to get to a new Melia property in Playa del Carmen because our home resort was closed for renovation. The Playa del Carmen property was absolutely stunning. We were traveling as a family of six with our kids/spouses and originally stayed in the family area. However, I have never been happier with my membership than I was when we were all upgraded to the La Perla section for adults. Miriam was our concierge and is absolutely lovely. She made the magic happen throughout our stay. The rest of the staff from Carlos to Yusmara, Victor, Manny, Jorge and all of the pool bar staff made for a great week of unplugging, getting back to nature and enjoying the Carribean. We didn't want to leave and wish we could go back now :-) The facility was absolutely beautiful but the whole culture and vibe from the staff really made the trip.

This was a 20yr Wedding anniversary treat and wow did it deliver! From arrival we were treated to champagne in reception then shown to our suite in the most beautiful resort. The day after we were shown around by the lovely Antonio who explained everything to us. Food is outstanding! Drinks are premium and plentiful! So much choice in terms of restaurants and bars. We loved them all. Staff are simply incredible and so attentive. Activities on offer are excellent from mixology, ice baths, sound baths and yoga. Amira and Richie were outstanding. We also did a day excursion booked through the wonderful Yaressi! She was extremely knowledgeable and we had the experience of a lifetime swimming with whale sharks and manta rays as well as visiting stunning Isla Mujeras. Thank you for making our trip so special. We really don’t want to leave!

We had a great time. Concierge EDUARDO GAMBOA was great We Would go again. The food was good. Service was good. Beautiful grounds.

Excellent anniversary experience
Visited to celebrate our anniversary. Never disappointed with this resort, love the private atmosphere and excellent cuisines options. Stayed in the reserve presidential suite and took advantage of the incredible sea view and very large deck for tanning and relaxing. We enjoyed multiple visits to the spa for massages and my wife had facials. The treatment options and service delivered there are luxurious and relaxing.
The staff is why we keep coming back. They are very attentive and often anticipated our needs before we even clued into needing it. Cynthia our concierge is always amazing and always available to help us. Room staff for housekeeping to restock to room service is so professional. We always had extra special treats waiting. They were also very respectful of our privacy.
The restaurant options are excellent. Food and staff 5 stars. Special shout out to the reserve lobby bartender who prepared our drinks in the afternoon and evenings. They recommended new tequilas and made us feel at home when walking through.
This resort is high quality and luxurious without feeling pretentious. Always love our stays here and will continue to keep coming back!
