Located in a stunning little bay, the hotel is within walking distance of beaches and Playa del Carmen town centre. There is a plethora of attractions in the vicinity and the hotel is also close to famous Mayan archaeological sites such as Tulum, Chichen Itza and Coba. Paradisus La Perla Adults Only features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. The resort has an outdoor pool and hot tub, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant Free private parking is available on site.

A supplement applies to book Bali Beds located at La Perla or La Esmeralda swimming pool area.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Ismael and Sandy Buffet Hadar
Awesome experience and best ever service by Ismael and Sandy. Ismael was amazing with his hospitality like we’ve never experienced before. He made our stay and all our meals so so memorable. 10/10 for Ismael.
Always ask for him when you come to Hadar buffet for meals.
The service provided was exceptional, with particular recognition due to Ismael and Sandy at Buffet Hadar. Furthermore, Sebastian and Raymundo at the adults-only swim-up bar demonstrated outstanding professionalism. Their contributions significantly enhanced our stay, and we look forward to returning.
The resort is infested with feral cats and raccoons. They were everywhere. One raccoon followed us to our room. Cats were under the table while we were eating dinner. The staff never intervened. We have a video of a raccoon in the reception lounge on the table eating food laid out for guests. On one occasion, a group of raccoons climbed on the table next to ours at the pool side restaurant and began eating food left on the table. We went to the resort to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary unfortunately it was a bad idea. We will not recommend this resort to anyone. We called American Express to state our complaint because they gave this resort a good rating. This influenced our choice. Bad decision.
We had the most amazing time at Paradisus La Perla on our honeymoon.
The hotel has such a luxurious feel, we stayed in a junior suite and had an amazing room. The food options are great and there are a variety of cuisines to suit everybody.
We spent most of our time at the Fahrenheit pool, there are plenty of sun loungers including some in the pool which were perfect for relaxing and reading. Ernesto & Oscar couldn’t do enough for us and were very friendly and attentive.
We also spent a lot of time at the swim-up pool bar and enjoyed meeting Raymondo & Sebastian who made great drinks and were fun to talk to!
Ernesto, Oscar, Sebastian & Raymondo were so friendly and took the time to get to know us (and our drinks order!). They went above and beyond, they couldn’t do enough for us. They really made a huge impact on our experience and made the trip really special.
The food is overall very good, there are many options at all times of the day. Generolly everyone is very attentive, albeit service can be very slow / language barrier. The best waiter in the whole hotel is Ismael at Bufet Hadar. You need more Ismael's!
