Alberto was amazing as soon as he picked us up and introduced us to this amazing place. Fer and Mauricio were so helpful with everything we could ever needed! From the food to the activities to the beach everything was perfect. If you’re looking for the perfect vacation stay here!😊
Here we are again. Our fifth time staying at Palafitos Overwater Bungalows! The experience is always great and the staff is an important part of why. We love being greeted by Alberto who recognizes us and gives us hugs and asks about our family and tells us about his. Then we get to the desk to check in and someone always says "welcome home". The bulters - Fernando, William, Yasser - are excellent and perform their jobs with care and professionalism.
This place was amazing!! The staff was so kind and helpful. Alberto, Aldo, Fernando, Patricia and all the wait staff and housekeepers did an exceptional job making our 25th Anniversary trip unforgettable!! The bungalow was heavenly! It had everything you needed and you never had to leave it if you didn’t want to. It had a pool, sun deck and access into the ocean. Room service was always available too. The pools and pool bars are great, the beach has some seaweed but they did their best to remove it. The food throughout the resort was delicious. Mio and the grill and wine bar at the bungalow were our favorites. The anniversary breakfast and dinner on the beach were a perfect way to celebrate. The property was well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to have a dream trip!
We did the snorkeling trip but the water was rough and not the best visibility the day we went. We also did the Rio Secreto excursion which was nice but I would not recommend it to people with back issues…. The ride from check in point to the actual cave was VERY bumpy and rough and it was about 20 minutes each way.
Overall, I would recommend this resort to friends and family!! Alberto, Aldo, Fernando and Patricia were top notch!!
