This magnificent beachfront resort is conveniently located in the centre of Cancun's Caribben shoreline, just a stone's throw from Kukulcan Plaza shopping mall and a short walk from La Isla Shopping Village, offering its guests a peaceful setting in which to unwind and many leisure options for the more active ones. All 340 luxury villas have a unique architectural design and breath-taking ocean views of white sandy beaches with turquoise waters for added comfort. Visitors may relax at the on-site spa, have a refreshing swim by the swimming pool, play tennis and enjoy an impressive array of glamorous services, including themed nights and live entertainment shows with something different every night.
What can I say only that the staff greets you with open arms the service is exceptional the hotel is always clean the food is great especially the all inclusive. The rooms are amazingly cleaned and room service is great. I rate this resort a five star.
The Royal Sands is our favorite place to stay in Cancun. The wait staff is exceptional and truly make you feel like ROYALTY! Worth the money paid.
Fantastic, we love it. The crew is the best. Food has gone down since Holliday Inn vacations took it over. But we love the Sands. So many friends over the years
Visually stunning! We spent 2 hours here as part of staying at a sister resort. Despite the towers of rooms, I briefly had the infinity lap pool to myself at midday. Although there were a lot of adults relaxing in the main pool, there was plenty of room. There are two swim-up bars. Chairs around the pool were 100% occupied/claimed, but chairs under umbrellas on the beach were readily available. The sand beach is wide, and the water depth is in waves, so one can be quite close to the shore and still actually swim. A storm was coming in, so there were 6' waves; after the storm, there was some seaweed. They have outdoor showers for the sand and indoor showers for the salt and changing. The pool area has a general bathroom, and the hotel drug/grocery/gift store is as large as a neighborhood grocery store. There are no lockers, so be prepared to swim in shifts if you have your wallet and phone.
Had plenty of fun, karaoke was really fun. Resort was clean, workers are really nice and cordial. You guys seem to work as a good team there.
