We have just stayed for 14 nights here and nothing especially bad to say about it. Check in seemed to take a while but once through was easy. The room was clean and spacious and cleaned daily with towels changed. We did have to ask a few times for the minibar to be restocked. Also when we arrived our toilet did not work but once we informed reception it was fixed quickly. Also our shower broke about 10 days into the holiday and only the small shower head worked for the rest of the holiday which was slightly inconvenient when washing hair but cannot complain. I also found out after we checked in that my boyfriend had contacted the hotel prior to arriving asking for a small setup to be organised as it was my birthday when we arrived which the hotel agreed to however, when we arrived nothing was there. The food is lovely here, I definitely recommend utilising the a-la cartes as the buffet can get samey. We particularly enjoyed the Asian restaurant. The drinks are lovely and do have top shelf alcohol without needing Diamond Club access such as aperol and absolut vodka. Personally don’t see the need for Diamond Club as everything bar the rooftop pool alcohol is accessible. The bar staff are all lovely especially Abraham and was quick with pool and bar waiter service. We booked 2 trips whilst here to isla mujares and was a good day despite the weather. Without a doubt, the highlight is the entertainment team. Diego and Hiram made the days enjoyable with constant things to do, happy attitude, and socialising with all the guests. The evening entertainment led by Diego was always fun too. Would recommend here again and would not personally use the Diamond Club upgrade as didn’t see the need for it :)
Having a VIP experience was not at all VIP - the pool closed at 6pm, there was only 1 bar attached to the pool that closed at 6pm, then you had to go to the small bar area closed off from the rest of the resort to get any VIP drinks and a very small snack area. To me being VIP would be with all the perks to be included all the time not just part of it. The concierge person that was assigned to us was not really doing any extra things for us, just sending the daily activities which we could have gotten ourselves int he app. We asked for extras and were not given to us. Too much money to be a VIP when you are not really a VIP at all.
Stayed in the junior suite. The rooms are modern, spacious and well maintained. The best part of the resort is the staff and their service. They are friendly and always greet you with a smile. Our butler, Arturo was excellent and went out of his way to ensure we we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend the Hunter steakhouse for dinner one night! The rooftop pool was a disappointment as we were expected to buy a bottle if we wanted to stay and hangout. The hotel should look at opening up this space so that guests can actually enjoy it, especially on non-busy days.

A fabulous experience. The hotel is almost perfect. The food was in my opinion, absolutely amazing in the speciality restaurants. Our butlers were amazingly kind and extremely helpful. I cannot fault them 1 bit. Excellent. My only criticism is the drinks. Yes you can get top shelf drinks but you have to go to a specialist bar on the 1st floor to get them. I don’t understand why these drinks aren’t in every bar but only served to Diamond/Prime members who are wearing the correct band. Makes no sense.
