Fabulous 11 night stay at this hotel the refurbishment is excellent the staff are exceptionally good Antonio in the small pool bar was brilliant and Jorge in the Italian restaurant was amazing too loved all the luxury extras that were provided in our hotel room layout was excellent evening entertainment was at times very entertaining quality of drinks really good we mostly ate in the Italian restaurant and Zesty love the ice cream parlour. loved the coffee shop we had an amazing holiday would definitely recommend for families with young children. We saw loads of things for children to do. We were just a couple and stayed by the quiet pool which was a lovely option animation team excellent. Can’t fault it really.
Excellent experience. Excellent staff. Great food. Wonderful SPA. Rooms were excellent, with comfortable beds. And pillows.
From our concierge Alejandro to unbelievable pool service by Viannay and Cynthia under Azael to nonstop coffee anf mimosa refills at breakfast and Julio in the Reserve lounge - it's amazing!! Tasty mexican food everywhere, italian Cappella restaurant was great plus excellent sushi at Kao in a spectacular setting- just really super clean and great smells everywhere like small but impactful touches with hand towels and decorations through foliage. It's spectacular with both large pools and beach too!
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Paradisus Cancun. We stayed here during our honeymoon and most of the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. There are several restaurants to dine at, with a large pool and beach area, which gives guests a broard variety of choice.
However, we have one complaint to make about Michelle who was the restaurant concierge at Kao on the evening of 7th September. We asked politely if we could dine at the restaurant one evening. She abruptly responded with a no, saying that the restaurant was fully booked and that there's no space for us for the next 3 hours. She didn't offer us to go on a waiting list or to wait by the bar. Moments later, another couple asked her the same question- they hadn't booked a table either. Michelle immediately put them a waiting list, and allowed them to wait by the bar whilst she finds them a table. Within minutes they were seated at a table. My wife and I saw all this unfold, and it was only after Michelle realised that we were observing this that she offered us a table, knowing that we would question this unfair treatment. Me and my wife have never felt mistreated in such a way before, and it made us feel that we were not wanted there. Throughout the evening at KAO Michelle didn't smile at us once or even speak to us. Sadly she ruined our experience for us.
Every time we would bump into her afterwards throughout our stay, she wouldn't once smile at us or greet us.
All other staff members were incredibly friendly so I don't feel like she represents the hotel staff in general, but we were reslly upset with how Michelle treated us.
