The hotel has been fantastic! Every employee has been great, customer service is a 10. Special mention to Alberto at Blue agave restaurant ❤️
Dinner at Blue Agave was the best. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server Manuel was amazing; very funny and personable.
We have just returned from an incredible family holiday at Paradisus Cancun, and overall we had a fantastic experience. There is so much to love about this resort.
The hotel itself is stunning. It genuinely feels like a tropical paradise with beautiful gardens, excellent pools, plenty of activities and entertainment, and an impressive selection of restaurants and bars. We also loved the extra effort the hotel made during the World Cup matches, which created a brilliant atmosphere throughout the resort.
The food exceeded our expectations. There was an incredible variety, everything was fresh, and the live cooking stations made every meal enjoyable. Breakfast quickly became our favourite meal of the day, thanks to Andrea, whose omelettes were simply the best. She greeted everyone with a smile and consistently delivered exceptional food.
Service from many of the staff was outstanding. Geovanny, our pool attendant, was one of the highlights of our holiday. Within a couple of days he knew exactly where we liked to sit, what we liked to eat and drink, and always welcomed us with warmth and genuine friendliness. It was service that made us feel truly valued.
Another standout was the 24-hour coffee shop, which became our favourite place to visit throughout the day. The coffee was excellent, but what made it special were the baristas, who greeted us with genuine smiles and incredible attention to detail every single visit.
A special mention must go to Rahul, our Guest Concierge. He completely elevated our stay. From recommending excursions and restaurants to helping us make the most of the hotel with our children, he consistently went above and beyond. By the end of our holiday he felt more like a friend than a member of staff. Rahul embodies everything Paradisus Cancun should represent: exceptional hospitality, genuine care and outstanding service.
Like any holiday, there were a few areas for improvement. Unfortunately, we experienced a full day of heavy rain, and the hotel doesn’t cope particularly well when the weather turns. Indoor options are limited, so the atmosphere changes considerably.
The resort was also extremely busy during our stay. While every member of staff worked incredibly hard and remained professional and friendly, there were occasions when service became slow. This wasn’t due to the staff themselves but simply because there weren’t enough of them to meet demand. During peak periods, increasing staffing levels would make a noticeable difference.
Interestingly, we met another family who became close friends during our stay. Because their first few days had not met expectations, the hotel kindly upgraded some of their experiences, and we were fortunate enough to share some of them together. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool cabanas, which normally cost around $100 per day, and were treated to two unforgettable private dining experiences where the chefs prepared authentic Indian cuisine one evening and an excellent Indian-Mexican fusion menu on another. These experiences demonstrated the talent and flexibility of the culinary team.
The only aspect of our stay that genuinely disappointed us was the Circle Membership presentation. We found the sales approach overly aggressive, with persistent pressure and emotional sales tactics that made us feel uncomfortable. We chose not to invest, and although it left a sour note, we refused to let it overshadow what had otherwise been an amazing holiday.
Outside the hotel, Cancun has so much to offer. We highly recommend Xcaret, Coco Bongo and Aquaworld, located directly opposite the hotel, for anyone looking for water sports and additional excursions.
Overall, Paradisus Cancun delivered a memorable family holiday. The beautiful setting, exceptional food and, most importantly, the incredible people made this a trip we will always remember. Thank you to Andrea, Geovanny, Rahul, Salvador and the entire team for making our stay so special.
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Paradisus Cancun last week with our teenage children. It’s a beautiful setting and hotel. We enjoyed a lot of time by the pool, the kids enjoyed yoga and the gym. We had many great dinners as well - Kao and Blue Agave were family favorites and everyone enjoyed the buffet for breakfast/lunch. There are so many little well placed amenities. The kids absolutely loved the little coffee/cake shop near our room in pyramid 1. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. We want to give a special thank you to our concierge Estephany Gonzalez for being so helpful with everything- from making our dinner and spa reservations to answering all our questions and providing top notch personalized service. She helped make our trip even better. Also thank you to Karina in the Yhi spa. Was definitely one of the best massages I have ever had! And we had so many great waiters but wanted to give a special shout out to Armando in blue agave and David in Kao for going the extra mile. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Traveling with 3 teens isn’t always easy but there was so much to do and so many beautiful places to enjoy time that everyone was happy. We had a 2 bedroom suite room as well which was absolutely perfect. Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping it clean and stocked.
We had an evening in Kao, within Parasius Cancun. David was awesome, so attentive and brought so many different things for us to try. He made the evening so much better, than previous restaurant with in the hotel. The best so far.
