Overall, the room, lobby and service was good. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Beware of timeshare pitch, although they don't call it a timeshare. It will take up more than 2 hours and you go off site to a beautiful resort. We found this resort rather creepy, it's sitting there basically empty, but immaculately clean. They parade you around telling you how wonderful it is, and then try to sell it to you! Just say no, it's a big scam. Once you are through with that enjoy the rest of you week. Oh, research the seaweed situation in Cancun. Beaches were stinky and full of dead seaweed. The pool was great, food was good and staff was very friendly. Lot's to do, outside of playing on the beach.

Great birthday dinner with lobster steak and flan by Captain Miguel, waitress Ivonn and Antonio. Chef Ruben was amazing accommodating gluten free as well. If you stay at Ocean Spa ask for Miguel in the Cafe eating area he is amazing!! I would definitely come back.
We had a blast at the ocean spa hotel, outstanding service from Osvaldo, capitán Antonio, Capitán Miguel, every time we ate at restaurants.
Ocean Spa Hotel all inclusive was fantastic. Great value for all that you get. The front desk and everywhere on the resort there was someone who was bi-lingual. Which makes it easier if your Spanish is lacking. If you want to have a massage it is available, for a fee. If you like that kind of thing they have it there. You do not have to leave the resort. They have everything. There are free planned activities everyday. Shopping is not far away. Our room was fine. Not that you spend a lot of time there. Refrigerator, coffee maker and a TV. And a bed of course. The AIr conditioning was great. You need it because it is hot hot hot. Maid service everyday. They kept the room clean and tidy. My glasses would fog up every time I went outside. It was nice and quiet and my room wasn’t far from the pool. Anytime I needed anything it was taken care of right away. We enjoyed our honeymoon and was treated like royalty. Capitan Miguil was always there to make sure we had everything we needed. The waiters Luis&Ivonne never let us down. And our compliments to the chef who made us an amazing dinner. Thank you for wonderful memories.
