overall good experience. location is good, ocean is great. the rooms itself could be renovated a little. what makes the hotel really nice is the staff. literally everyone is very welcoming and friendly which creates great atmosphere. it was a pleasure to meet Stefanie, Francesco, the mister who works as the waiter on the beach(I unfortunately forgot his name) he was always very helpful and fast bringing the drinks and food to the beach; and all the other people from the restaurants, cleaning and reception.

We had an amazing stay at NYX! We really loved the food, different restaurants and especially the entertainment team with Steph and Francisco. They had great energy and fun activities 🕺
Purchased all inclusive but it’s only limited inclusive. To get bottle beer it’s $6 which was $2 more than most anywhere else we went
The beach was excellent, Ive been to cancun and stayed at different resorts and this one probably has the best beach and swimmable water with minimal waves and seaweed. Hotel is also walking distance to la isla. The food was good but I think they can work on the flavours. umami and chianti were nice but the lack of vegetarian and seafood options is evident. For example at the buffet they had only 1 fish option every night and everything else had pork beef or chicken including the grill. As well, breakfast was always the same. Seems they're catering mostly to Americans. All other resorts Ive stayed at had many seafood options. Also the hotdogs and hamburgers, no vegetarian options. Veggie dogs at the pool bar would be nice! The lunch restaurant I had to request some of the dishes be made without meat and the servers were reluctant to ask the chef to make substitutions "because he was grumpy" . Need to get more with the times. Also every other all inclusive includes the coffee bar except this one. If you are a coffee lover please note this is not part of all inclusive. The entertainment staff were great, there were a variety of activities including a sound bath which I highly recommend. One of the salsa making classes was cancelled. The rooms were clean. We had a room right by the lobby and the sound was unbearable so they moved us to a room further in upon our request. Staff were very kind. All in all a good experience for a smaller resort.
