Enjoyed a truly excellent stay this past weekend at Secrets Mirabel, for a work trip. Everything is nice here, from the beach to the pools, and the rooms, and lobby. Nice small touches like a self-serve candy dispenser by check-in.
There was no sargassum at the beach; they maintain the property beautifully. The rooms are spacious, and house keeping is very attentive. Room service is also fast.
I need to give special mention to one employee in particular. Carlos, in the downstairs lounge/nightclub, Desire. After two days of meetings and site inspections, each night our group would get together at Desires, and Carlos was incredibly attentive. Every time I needed another beer or glass of water, he seemed to know it before I myself even realized it. He saw me struggling to figure out where the bathroom was, and was suddenly right at my side, showing me the way. This guy was so cool, I'd recommend Secrets based on his service alone!
We stayed at Secrets Mirabel in October 2026 and had an excellent trip from start to finish.
Our room had a partial ocean view, and it was great to wake up to. The food was a highlight. We ate at several of the restaurants and every one of them delivered.
The pool area was clean and well kept, and we never had trouble finding chairs. Ignacio, who works the pool area, deserves special mention. He was very attentive and made our days there easy.
The spa was another high point, especially the hydrotherapy circuit. I recommend setting aside time for it. I celebrated my birthday in the Blue Water Grill and it was a great experience.
For anyone concerned about seaweed, there was not much sargassum during our stay.
We have no complaints. I recommend this resort and would gladly return.
We had a great time at Secrets Mirabel. It’s a smaller resort but everyone was super nice. Our butler Martha was fantastic, Bordeau restaurant was excellent, thank you to Daniel Uribe, hostess was so sweet and helpful thank you Geraldine. The chef Trujillo made an excellent special and the manager came by to greet us (Jorge C ) . Thank u for a great evening. If you come here make sure your man has long pants and no flip flops for either. Strict on wardrobe at all the restaurants .
Just got back from a stay at Secrets Mirabel and had a great experience. From check in to check out, the staff was amazing and accommodating.
We spent time at the pool, and got to know Magali and Geovanni who made sure we never had an empty drink, both were amazing and I hope we get to see them again.
The Desires bar had some fun entertainment and shows. The service was great their too, especially the bar tender Rafael and his partner in crime Carlos.
I can’t go without saying that Arlene and Evelinn did a great job keeping the energy up at the pool for the various activities going on throughout the day, thank you!
Breakfast at the market Grill was fun with Bartolo loco! Food was also great with a wide variety to choose from.
I do have to say I had one the best Ribeyes at the BlueWater Grill this year. Thank you to Ricardo for making this a great experience as well.
Would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to relax and have a great time.
Just went to Bordeaux at Secrets Mirage for dinner and it was awesome! Daniel, our server, and the whole staff were seriously great. The food and service were top-notch. Totally recommend it and would ask for Daniel next time. You won’t regret it!
