This is our second time staying at the Grand Moon Palace. Our first time was last year and we had a great experience. This year, it took us over an hour to check in. The line was awful and this is for palace members too. We got to our room, had our bags dropped off and went to dinner. We got back from dinner to find a racoon running around in our room! It had gotten into protein bars and sodas in our room. My husband tried to get it out the sliding door and finally succeeded. We noticed it most likely came in through the ventilation system in the shower. It had knocked over a bunch of soda cans that either was the racoon’s or just cans people left up there? Either way, super gross. When we called housekeeping, they didn’t help. We went to the front desk, waited in line (again) to tell them what happened. They apologized and said we might be able to switch rooms. No one ever came and inspected the room or followed up with us. They finally switched us rooms a few hours later and that was the last we heard. Not one hotel member called to check on us. We had a racoon go through our bags in our room and they didn’t do anything except for switch our rooms after I told them we felt unsafe.
We spent 5 days here during fall break with our three little ones (7, 4 and 4). The resort has everything you could really want from an all inclusive. Pools for every vibe, lots of restaurant options, plenty of bars and hangout spots and great adults only and kids only activities and clubs to keep everyone happy.
Lily, Amelia and Lizette at the play room were so amazing for our kids, being extremely welcoming and kind on all of their time in the club. This coupled with the waterpark area and game room were highlights for our kids.
The food was surprisingly good for an all inclusive, with Cusco for breakfast, Habibi and La Cantina being the highlights during our short stay.
We really enjoyed the trip and will be planning a return visit soon!
We stayed in Moon Palace Grand. Great location and great amenities. Our suite was excellent and taken care of by the staff. It was a great value for the money. Room was kept clean by your staff and we enoyed seren sun rise and sun set from your suite. Service in this resort was fantastic and extraordinary.
Will recommend to all our family and friends.
We had a great experience at the Activity Pool! The diamond pool concierges, Jose and Hector, made my daughter’s 13th birthday celebration so special by decorating a cabana and bringing special treats throughout the day. Our waiter, Dorotei, was especially attentive never leaving us with an empty glass. Great day at The Grand!
Loved it! Jose and Hector at the grand pool went above and beyond for us! Can’t say enough about great things about our trip! Highly recommend!!! Great guys!! Doroteo was an amazing pool waitstaff also!! Our day at the pool celebrating birthdays was amazing! Can’t say enough positive things about it!!
