Best vacation I’ve been on by far
I just ended my stay and I wish I never left. Right as we arrived staff quickly treated us like family and that made our entire vacation. The entertainment team did an amazing job including everyone. Alex, Angie and Michelle apart of the team really encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and I’m so glad they did! All of the workers really got to know you. The waiters and bartenders always served you with a smile on their face. Jorge and Misael were incredible bar tenders who really treated us like family while making incredible drinks for us. All workers were hardworking and responsible and a special shoutout should go to Brian, he was there everyday during our stay and was always getting his job done with a warm and welcoming smile. Vacations aren’t always just about where you go. But they are about the people you meet. Dreams sands resort has incredible staff who really get to know you and treat you like family!

Don't go if you don't want to hear kids all day. Don't go if you see kids everywhere you turn.dont go unless you want to dress casual or elegant every night. Don't go unless you want them to be accusatory of you because your drinking. Don't go unless you mind almost getting your head busted on their beach because of the rocks and seaweed.

4 Stars - overall a great time
First, let me say that the workers at the resort are absolutely wonderful and are great people. I think most of the restaurants are decent. the only thing I didn’t like was the plain scrambled eggs were always super dry. and I got there early in the morning because I have a two-year-old and if you have small children, you know that they wake up early.
The pools are nice although, the water in all of the pools is really warm and so if you’re looking to cool off, at thethree main pools that all of the guests can use, the water is not cold enough to cool off in BUT if you somehow make your way to the preferred members pool, that one had a colder temperature that they apparently maintained throughout the day.
The beach is perfect for little ones, but you need to make sure you’re careful because it is a very rocky beach. but that’s not the hotel’s fault that’s just the nature of that part of the beach.
Overall I had a great time and so did my two year-old. The staff is absolutely wonderful and I want to to make a small shout out to Richard who works by the pools and wears the white shirt uniform. He was so kind to me and my child and every time he saw us, he would go out of his way to say hello and to speak with her and to make sure that we were doing okay. So thank you Richard for making our day so wonderful!

Don't Visit Here!!!
The pics are not true! The hotel is old and hot. The A/C only works in the Lobby. The room was dirty, bathtub and linen included. Staff aren't welcoming and Don't LISTEN! Also food isn't the best and they lie about the beach front. The images show a beautiful beach front, but truth is, it's gross and disgusting looking full of seaweed and huge rocks making it difficult as hell to get in the water. My elderly parents would not be able to get in the water from Preferred or Standard sides. SMH!!! Unsure of the HYPE with this location, but it Sucked for Me! Hard Pass for a Return visit! NEGATIVE!!!
Great first out of the country family vacation
I loved this resort super clean with super nice people location was great. Walking distance of the shipping stores. Super family friendly resort.
