Relaxed and awesome time!
Went Aug 2026 and loved it! Service was great-everyone was so friendly! I love the room and shower! Food was ok but my expectations weren't that high considering it's all-inclusive. Drinks are watered down so I always get a cocktail and double tequila shots. I'm not much of a party person anymore so it was just the right amount of "liveliness" for me. When you first walk up to the lobby, go to The Nook to grab a drink so you can sip it while you're waiting in line to check in. (Wish someone told us this) We also made some new friends!
Beautiful Hotel, But Disappointing Entertainment and Guest Experience
I would rate this hotel five stars for the property itself. The facilities are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and overall we enjoyed our stay. However, there were several disappointing aspects that prevented this from being a truly all-inclusive experience.
The biggest issue was the lack of entertainment. We arrived on Monday, and there was very little activity throughout the week. The music by the pool was extremely quiet, and it was not until Thursday that someone came to play the darbuka for about 15 minutes before leaving. There were no foam parties, beach parties, pool parties, themed nights, or entertainment activities in the evenings. As a result, we had to leave the resort almost every other night to find something to do.
The checkout process was also unnecessarily long, and having to provide our names every time we left the hotel became frustrating.
Another disappointment was the constant upselling. Seeing additional paid items on the menu made it feel like we had not signed up for a true all-inclusive package. The lack of complimentary bottled water was also surprising for a resort of this caliber.
Finally, the room description online did not mention that the shower was completely visible through transparent glass doors. This created an uncomfortable situation when traveling with friends. We decided to change rooms to one with two queen beds and paid an additional $350 USD, only to discover that the new room had the same transparent shower design.
Overall, the hotel itself deserves five stars, but the entertainment, transparency regarding room layouts, and constant upselling were major disappointments.

Nice overall, quiet during transition.
Just left Breathless Soul this morning. It was quiet but still lovely and everyone was friendly. Lunch at FishNets was fantastic! The shrimp ceviche and starter salsa were unbelievable! Customer service was great, Emir and Kevin on the E were fantastic. The bellmen were great on the way out. The Asian restaurant is so beautiful and the views are stunning. I love that they Incorporated a bar by the window where people can sit and mingle over the views. The menu was very interesting although I was a bit disappointed with actual flavors. It was still fun to try and service was great with Kevin there and Max at the Italian restaurant.
But the standout of this resort was actually its lifeguards and the staff who helped me with my little boo boo. I had a small cut from snorkeling that I wanted to nurse and protect from infection and they were all so wonderful when I reached out several hours apart to get a Band-Aid and cream applied. Special shout out and deepest gratitude to Asunciona lifeguard. She was so sweet! And to the beach lifeguards right by the resort doors, I sadly missed his name. And finally to Dayana and Santiago. They were all just so kind to me!
And it wouldn't be a visit to Cancun if I didn't go visit my favorite spa at Nancy's Spa ! I have sent so many guests to her and we always return happy! The massage at the spa with fire sounds wonderful but it's just too expensive if you're trying to budget.

Not so great
It didn’t really feel like a true all-inclusive resort. A lot of the things you would normally expect to be included or readily available either weren’t available or weren’t even open during our stay. It was disappointing to pay for an all-inclusive experience but still feel limited in what we could actually enjoy. There were several times when we wanted to eat, grab a drink, or enjoy certain amenities, only to find out they were closed or unavailable. Overall, the experience just didn’t give us that convenient, worry-free all-inclusive feeling that we expected when booking the resort.
Worst Experience Ever-Hunger Games in real life
I have NOTHING positive to say about the experience. If you want a good time, just don't go there. They have already checked out, everything is closed, limited to about 4 restaurants that aren't even open everyday. If you like burgers, fries, dry chicken and rice, have no fear, you will eat it EVERY DAY. They should just shut down until the change-over as what they are offering, I would have NEVER paid for. Waste of money, waste of good outfits, everything was bad. Dont get me started on the seaweed beach "pad" that this hotel calls a beach. Utterly DISGUSTED, and I'm a very frequent traveler, but this was first to Cancun. And yes, as you can see, I'm still mad.
