Junaid and Maya are doing an amazing job! They are very professional, hardworking, and genuinely wonderful to work with. We highly recommend them and would happily give them a 5-star review. Keep up the great work! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very rude and unprofessional staff, especially Marison and Angelo. We were repeatedly disturbed during our stay, and Angelo’s attitude was extremely disrespectful and intimidating. Very disappointing experience.
We are extremely disappointed with our recent 2-night stay at Roda Amwaj Suites, especially because this was not our first time staying at the hotel.
We have stayed at Roda Amwaj many times and continued coming back because, based on our previous experiences, we found the staff accommodating, understanding, and welcoming when we had family and friends visiting. We have even celebrated birthdays here before with several guests and never experienced this kind of treatment.
Unfortunately, this stay was completely different.
We booked the stay to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were simply having dinner, talking, laughing, and spending time with family and friends. There was no wild party or disruptive behavior.
From around 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, we were repeatedly called in our room and told that our guests had to leave. The repeated calls interrupted what was supposed to be a happy family celebration.
The Front Desk Supervisor, MARISON DYSOYCO, was the person repeatedly calling us. Unfortunately, we found her manner of communication to be rude, disrespectful, and lacking in understanding. We understand that hotel policies need to be followed, but there is a professional and respectful way to communicate.
The situation continued at around 10:30 PM, when Angelo from Reception and a security staff member whose badge identified him as “Precious” came to our room and repeatedly rang the doorbell while our family and friends were inside.
This was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing for us and our guests. The way the situation was handled made us feel as though we were being treated as if we had done something wrong, despite simply spending time together in our room.
Because of the way the situation was handled, our guests eventually left at around 10:30 PM, which unfortunately put an end to our birthday celebration.
To be completely clear: we were NOT refusing to follow the hotel’s visitor policy. We understand and respect hotel rules.
Our complaint is about HOW the policy was communicated and enforced.
As paying guests and returning customers, we expected basic respect, professionalism, courtesy, and understanding. Instead, what should have been a special birthday celebration became stressful, embarrassing, and uncomfortable for our entire family and friends.
We have stayed at Roda Amwaj many times because of our previous positive experiences. Sadly, this incident has completely changed our impression of the hotel.
My husband's birthday was supposed to be a happy memory for our family. Instead, the evening ended with everyone feeling frustrated and uncomfortable.
The issue was not the hotel policy. We respect hotel rules. The issue was the way the staff handled and communicated the policy.
Very disappointing experience. We will NEVER stay again!
