Most impeccable service from restaurants to reception, poolside and especially housekeeping Apsara and Naresh. Also Robert was amazing
My dining experience was amazing, big shoutout to James from Caravan Restaurant, he was really nice, and his service was extraordinary.
The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. The team was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming especially James and William. We will come back soon.
Amazing hotel we stay one weak our vacation espically Mr. Raju from breakfast he is to take care of our table and always he knows our coffee before asking our kids also happy with the team definitely we will be back soon
My family (four adults and our 13-year-old daughter) spent 10 nights at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai from 17–27 August and had a wonderful time.
The hotel is relatively small, but it is immaculately maintained. The rooms are very comfortable, although some areas are perhaps beginning to show their age and could benefit from an update in the near future.
The gardens and pools are excellent, with attentive lifeguards and a fantastic team who are always on hand to help with sunbeds, towels, parasols and drinks. A short stroll through the beautiful gardens takes you to the hotel’s own pristine beach, which is a lovely spot to watch the sun go down each evening.
What really makes this hotel, though, is the staff. They are universally attentive, polite and genuinely keen to make sure you enjoy your stay. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
We stayed in a Club Room, which gave us access to the Club Lounge and its unlimited drinks and cocktails. The choice is a little limited, but there was always something available, along with lunch, afternoon tea and evening food. The food was good, although personally I wouldn’t rely on the Lounge for a full lunch and dinner every day. We mainly used it for drinks and snacks and made full use of the half-board ‘dine-around’ option, which allows you to eat at restaurants in other hotels within the group. It’s a fantastic concept and we took full advantage of it.
That said, don’t overlook the restaurants within the Ritz-Carlton itself. The Italian and Asian restaurants were both excellent.
For dining outside the hotel, I’d particularly recommend Maya (Mexican) and Rhodes 2010 (steakhouse) at the neighbouring Royal Meridian, as well as the Italian restaurant at the Westin. But the real standout for us was the buffet at Grosvenor House. It was, without doubt, the best hotel buffet I’ve experienced. There was ribeye cooked to order, several meats being carved in front of you, curries, fish, pasta, salads and an incredible dessert selection. It was exceptional.
A special mention has to go to Darwin in the Club Lounge. He is an absolute credit to the hotel and I genuinely couldn’t speak highly enough of him. Another member of staff who really stood out was the gentleman who opens the door to the pool/beach. I unfortunately can’t remember his name, but he absolutely owns that role — always there with a smile and ready to help.
Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday. The hotel, facilities, beach, restaurants and, above all, the staff made it a really enjoyable stay. The hotel was unusually quiet during our visit due to the ongoing conflict in the region, but despite the circumstances, we felt well looked after throughout.
We would happily return to the Ritz-Carlton Dubai and would have no hesitation recommending it to other families
