I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I would especially like to highlight Mahmoud from the swimming pool for his excellent service and friendly attitude.
A special thanks to Rifadh, the Duty Manager, for his professionalism, politeness, and outstanding hospitality. His attention to detail and welcoming approach truly made my stay more enjoyable.
Thank you to the entire team for making my stay a memorable one. I look forward to coming back again.
We stayed here just for one night and were glade to leave. The room was run-down, that is not Dubai standard. The location is good.
It is a hidden gem in bur Dubai. Location is excellent ,close to the main areas of shopping and business areas like business bay,shk Zayed road . The signature resturant food is excellent, have not had a better Indian meal for a long time, service was impeccable and preparation and presentation was very very pleasing.
We checked in yesterday at The Canvas Dubai, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is beautiful, and every member of the team made us feel welcome. The reception staff, food and beverage team, and housekeeping were all professional, friendly, and attentive.
A special thanks to Geetika, the Duty Manager. When she found out that I am nine months pregnant, she went above and beyond to make me feel special by arranging a lovely cake and sweets for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable.
The food was also delicious, and the overall hospitality was truly outstanding. I highly recommend The Canvas Dubai to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional service. We will definitely visit again!
An honest review of The Canvas Dubai - MGallery Hotel Collection.
Selling rooms at lower rates should never mean compromising basic hospitality and service standards.
Staff service was practically non-existent. The receptionist who checked us in had no name badge and never introduced himself, although he did changed from twin to a king room, which was appreciated. Thank you for that.
The room itself was actually very good, but housekeeping attention was lacking. The minibar fridge clearly had not been cleaned properly for a long time, the weighing scale had no batteries, and the beautiful wooden trunk in the room desperately needs polishing or restoration. The washroom stinks and it was obvious it lacked cleaning and is asking for basic maintenance. The flickering light from the router is seriously annoying. Loud music from the nearby bar/ lounge.
F&B service was disappointing. The hostess at the all-day dining restaurant during dinner service had no smile, no eye contact, and no warmth at all. These are basic hospitality standards. There were also barely any visible waiters in the restaurant.
The use of plastic bottles in rooms and restaurants should also be reconsidered.
Food by the pool: If the fish and chips served is simply breadcrumbed and deep-fried fish, then perhaps it should be described differently on the menu.
The Caesar salad portion was also extremely small, with several classic condiments and elements missing.
The rooftop washroom felt more like a public toilet than part of a five-star property. Attention to detail throughout the hotel was missing, even the pool menus looked more like roadside café menus than something from a 5 stars hotel.
Breakfast was good, however shuffling tables during the service gives them wrong impression and setting a clearance in the middle of the restaurant needs attention.
This is my second Accor property experience, and honestly, I have not seen much that reflects true five-star or Accor-level hospitality.
Highlight of my short stay was definitely the room ( wish the room could talk and offer genuine hospitality) and the lifeguard who was kind and attentive.
