From the moment we arrived, we knew this stay was going to be special. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. We were visiting to mark a birthday, and the team made sure it was truly unforgettable – they even gave us an early check-in so we could start enjoying our celebration right away. It's those thoughtful touches that turn a good stay into a great one.

The room itself was spectacular – stunning views of the Dubai skyline, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with that signature Sofitel elegance. The location was perfect too, making it easy to explore the city while still feeling like we had a luxurious sanctuary to return to.

But the real highlight? The breakfast. And I don't say that lightly.

Every morning breakfast was an absolute delight. The spread was vast and beautifully presented – a true feast for the senses. The pancakes were perfectly done, light and fluffy, and drizzled with just the right amount of chocolate sauce – not heavy at all, which was such a pleasant surprise. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the croissants with turkey were flaky, fresh, and absolutely delicious. There was something for everyone, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and charcuterie – a truly world-class spread that made every breakfast feel like a gourmet experience.

What made it even more special was the service. Shubham, who looked after us during breakfast, was incredibly helpful and attentive. He even went out of his way to arrange an amazing mocha coffee at our request – a small gesture that made a big impression. His warmth and professionalism truly reflected the hotel's commitment to making every guest feel valued.

The entire staff, from the front desk to the dining team, was amazing. They didn't just serve us – they made us feel like family. And knowing that they take such pride in celebrating milestones like birthdays, with cakes and special touches, makes this hotel a place we'd absolutely return to for any occasion.

Whether it's the luxurious rooms, the stunning location, the impeccable service, or that unforgettable breakfast spread, Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk delivered on every level. It wasn't just a stay – it was an experience. And we can't wait to come back.

What a sensational stay! Wonderfully appointed to let you explore Dubai with a green line metro station a short walk away, views in every direction of Dubai and one of the most wonderful hotel teams we have met. We chose to have a Club room and, at this time, we were having breakfast at La Veranda. The quality and choice of food is incredible, beautifully presented and prepared with pride. The team here are so good and really start your day well. Everyone was charming, but special thanks to Abhay who was so attentive throughout our stay and made us feel so welcome. Ramesh and Mary were similarly so pleasant and spoke with us whenever we sat within their area or not. Afternoon tea at Le Goûter is a similarly amazing experience, with even more excellent service and attention to detail. The food is incredible and you will over eat! Very special thanks to Angelica who was just amazing, so friendly and professional and we became friends. Priyanka and Sativa were just so kind and friendly too. They all made Afternoon Tea a very, very special event. We enjoyed drinks and canapés each evening on the 51st floor with those amazing views. Ouigden and Sabina were amazing hosts and made us so comfortable and Raju made sure we always had a drink and something to eat. A very special mention to Oka. Oka was a wonderful presence through most of our stay, so professional, friendly and polished. Another smiling and cheerful person was Hosian from the Concierge team. We were always greeted with a smile and asked if we were enjoying our stay. Our room was very comfortable and we wanted for nothing and our dedicated housekeepers did a marvellous job. The hotel has so many venues to enjoy and a lovely pool area too.

The hotel is a polished gem within the market and the team make it very, very special. We look forward to seeing them all again.
