SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences

My experience at SLS Dubai was positive. It is an impressive property with a distinctive atmosphere, and what stood out most was the professionalism and genuine hospitality of the team.

Since that visit, however, I have been troubled by what has been reported about the closure of Our Habitas Tulum and, particularly, by accounts from employees regarding the support they received during that process.

It has made me look differently at the wider Ennismore group. Great hospitality is not just created through design, restaurants, new openings or exciting destinations. Ultimately, it is created by the people working inside those properties. Although I have nothing but positive things to say about the SLS Dubai team and my stay itself, I have decided that, for the time being, I will not choose Ennismore hotels or restaurants for my future travels.

I would like to see the situation concerning the affected Tulum employees addressed fairly before reconsidering that decision.

I hope Ennismore takes the concerns surrounding Tulum seriously. A hospitality group's reputation is shaped not only by how successfully it grows, but also by how it supports its people when circumstances become difficult. The exceptional employees I encountered at SLS Dubai are a reminder that the people behind these brands are ultimately their greatest asset.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TOP EXPERIENCE AS ALWAYS!

We had another really great stay at SLS Dubai. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth valet, check-in, and the overall service. The room was nice, the food was good, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

The only things that need improvement were the balcony door, which was extremely hard to open and felt like it was stuck, and the AC, which wasn’t cold enough. We actually had the same issue during our previous stay, so hopefully this can be checked for future guests.

This was our second stay at SLS, and we came back again for the National Day holiday. One of the main reasons we always enjoy coming back is the rooftop lounge. It’s honestly one of our favorite shisha spots in Dubai, the view is amazing!

A special thank you to Chimmy, the Filipina manager, and her whole team. They remembered us from our previous stay and always take such good care of us. My mom and dad especially love going there because of Chimmy and her team. We originally planned to stay for just a few hours, but ended up going back every night for the next four nights and staying until closing! 😂

Great view, great music, and amazing service. It’s a little pricey, but for us, it’s definitely worth it.

Chimmy also invited us to the Brazilian party, and WOW! that was so much fun! 🔥🇧🇷 We booked a VIP sofa and ordered champagne, but honestly, we barely even sat down because the party was so good. We were standing, dancing, and enjoying the whole night with our family and friends. Such a fun night and definitely one of the highlights of our stay!

And I have to mention Hamdi from the coffee shop downstairs! My mom literally only wants her coffee if Hamdi makes it. 😂 His coffee really hits different great taste every time!

Also, big respect to the security team. Everyone was respectful, professional, and very helpful.

Overall, we had another amazing experience at SLS Dubai. ❤️ It really feels like coming back to a place where people remember you and make you feel welcome.
