The conference area located on two floors, features 7 meeting rooms, all equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities, wire-free connections and facets. The hotel's recreation area, Bodylines Fitness and Wellness Club provide a fully-equipped gymnasium, outdoor temperature-controlled rooftop swimming pool for adults and children, beauty salon, treatment rooms for massage and skin care as well as a separate sauna, steam room and hot tub.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages. If you're looking for recreational opportunities, you'll find a health club, an outdoor pool and a sauna. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). Guests can catch a ride to nearby destinations on the complimentary local area shuttle.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a recent business trip.
The staff at the hotel were always friendly and professional.
I booked a Club access room. Firstly the room was large and comfortable.
The Club was an oasis for breakfast. Plenty of options.
Unfortunately the evenings in the Club were polar opposite, no snacks at all and very limited beverage options. Having said this a provision for food and drinks was made in the restaurant for club guests. It was actually very good and the restaurant staff were exceptional - especially Ruth. So an ok outcome.
The hotel is just a few minutes walk to a train station and there are several small supermarkets nearby.
The pool was popular and a nice way to cool off after a busy work day.
Overall and positive experience and I would return again if my travels bring me back to Dubai
Update: I appreciate the hotel management’s prompt response to my complaint, they took the issue seriously and changed the shuttle booking procedure starting the very next day.
Original: I am currently staying at Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, and overall my experience with the hotel itself has been quite good.
The room is clean and housekeeping does a good job. The room generally corresponds to the standard I would expect from a hotel of this category. Some signs of wear and age are noticeable in the furnishings and interior, but nothing critical — overall, the room is comfortable and well maintained.
I had a small issue with the TV remote control, but after I reported it to reception, the problem was resolved quickly. I appreciate the prompt response from the staff.
As for the food, it is fairly simple and without anything particularly special, but generally fine. One small recurring issue is the service: the waiters sometimes forget to provide a complete set of cutlery, so you may have to ask for missing items.
Unfortunately, my main disappointment has been the complimentary Kite Beach shuttle booking system.
The hotel’s printed rules clearly state that booking starts every day at 8:00 AM and that registration for Kite Beach is required 24 hours in advance.
On October 2, I came to the booking desk at 8:00 AM, exactly when booking was supposed to open, to reserve the shuttle for October 3. I wanted either the 8:00 or 9:15 AM departure and the 10:00 or 11:30 AM return, but these slots were already unavailable.
When I asked how the morning slots could already be unavailable at the official opening time, I was told by the staff that guests start coming at 7:00 AM or even earlier to secure their preferred times.
This was frustrating because I specifically followed the hotel’s written instructions and arrived exactly when booking officially opens. If guests actually need to queue an hour or more before the stated booking time to have a realistic chance of getting a morning shuttle, this should be clearly communicated. Otherwise, guests who follow the published procedure are put at a disadvantage.
I have contacted the hotel management regarding this issue and hope they will clarify the procedure and introduce a more transparent and fair booking system.
Overall, the cleanliness, housekeeping and the reception staff’s quick response to problems have left a positive impression. The rooms show some signs of age, and the food and restaurant service could be improved, but overall the accommodation itself has been good.
The Kite Beach shuttle booking procedure has been the most disappointing part of my stay so far.
I will update this review if the hotel responds and resolves the issue.
We had a lovely break at this hotel. The pool was a good temperature which we enjoyed in the hot days. We had a twin aspect room which gave great views of the city and was well equipped with a kitchen. The bed and bedding were excellent and the room was cleaned daily though the bathroom was a little tired. We stayed on a All Inclusive basis which I would recommend if affordable. We were very happy with this hotel and would definitely stay again, great value for money.
