Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Everything was excellent during my stay, and I had no issues with the hotel or the service. However, my check-out experience was disappointing.
I would like to raise a concern regarding a staff member at VOGO Hotel. Although there are many staff members working in the restaurant, this particular staff member repeatedly approached me during my lunch time and asked me to provide a Google review. She also specifically requested a picture of my name tag and a picture of me. Yesterday, while I was having lunch with my friends, she approached me again. She also repeatedly brought me a soft drink even after I had told her that I did not need it. This made me feel uncomfortable, as I had already clearly declined. I appreciate good service and understand the importance of guest feedback. However, repeated requests for reviews, photographs, and additional service after I have declined can make a guest feel pressured and uncomfortable. I have the staff members name and photograph and can provide them to management privately if required. I kindly request that management look into this matter and ensure that guests are allowed to enjoy their personal lunch time without repeated requests or pressure....
Excellent rooms, huge lush green area within the premises, with the golf court. Vallet parking system was excellent.
But the breakfast was bad.
On the first day of the stay 15th of September there was only one Indian dish, poha which cannot be consumed as full breakfast. Nobody expects a big spread of Indian breakfast, but basic atleast 2 Indian dishes with a bread would have been decent.
I requested the staff for at-least to arrange for an Indian style milk tea (karak type), which most hotels in Abudhabi prepare for breakfast or atleast try considering requests. Also this type of tea is loved by many in the middle east. But the staff refused to accommodate our request for the same.
Only highlight of the breakfast was fresh juices, many hotels include canned one’s in their buffet, but this hotel had the freshly squeezed one’s in their spread.
I am definitely happy with my stay and looking forward to coming back with my family. I'm giving my extended gratitude to all the friendly staff who extended their help to me and my colleagues.
