We stayed at Rosewood Abu Dhabi for a family trip and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. This was our first stay at the property, and it was the combination of beautifully designed spaces, incredibly spacious rooms, and genuinely thoughtful service that stood out.
We had booked two rooms, a Deluxe and an Executive, and were given connecting rooms, which made a huge difference when travelling as a family. The rooms were massive, beautifully designed and very well thought out, with everything feeling both luxurious and functional. Our city-view rooms overlooked Cleveland Clinic and the Abu Dhabi skyline, and the beds, bathrooms, and temperature control were all excellent.
Check-in and check-out were completely seamless, thanks in large part to MOUSTAFA, the Assistant Manager. We were welcomed and escorted to our rooms by YASIN, who gave us a lovely tour of the property and showed us around the rooms.
The birthday touches were particularly special. There was already a birthday cake, juice, and welcome snacks waiting in the room when we arrived. Then, on my actual birthday, 8 September, I came back to find my room and bed beautifully decorated with balloons. It was such a thoughtful surprise and made the stay feel genuinely personal.
KHADIJAH, the Lobby Ambassador, was another highlight. She greeted us warmly every day, asked about our plans, made suggestions, and kept us company while we waited for our cars. She recommended a particular shopping destination that we ended up visiting, and it turned out to be an excellent suggestion. These little interactions made the hotel feel much more welcoming.
Breakfast at Aqua was another strong point. LAILA and her team ensured everything ran smoothly, and the buffet spread was genuinely impressive. We only wish we had enough time to experience more of the hotel’s dining options. Dai Pai Dong and Majlis by Pierre Hermé were both on our list, but our schedule unfortunately didn’t allow us to try them.
The housekeeping was equally impressive. OMAR was incredibly efficient and attentive. In fact, he even took the initiative to organise my rather messy makeup table, which was such a small but wonderfully thoughtful touch.
The concierge and arrival team were consistently helpful, with a special mention for JIMMY, an intern who would escort us to our cars and make a point of opening the door for my 70-year-old mother. The doorman greeted us warmly every day and somehow managed to bring in all our shopping bags, even when there were multiple bags, without making us wait.
The location on Al Maryah Island is another major advantage. It is central, easy to get to, and we had no trouble finding taxis to and from the hotel. Being connected to The Galleria also makes shopping and dining extremely convenient.
What I appreciated most about Rosewood Abu Dhabi was the consistency. It wasn’t just one exceptional interaction or one particularly attentive member of staff. From the Assistant Manager and lobby team to housekeeping, breakfast, concierge, and the doormen, everyone seemed genuinely invested in making our stay comfortable.
We travelled as a family, and Rosewood made the experience feel effortless. The beautiful rooms were certainly a highlight, but it was the thoughtful attention to detail and the people behind it that made the stay memorable. I’m already planning my next birthday here!
A beautiful and luxurious hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The café in the lobby makes delicious coffee that I drink daily. The rooms are spacious and tidy. I would like to thank all the room service staff, as they are helpful, quick, and eager to assist and serve in any way possible to ensure guests feel comfortable. I would also like to thank Nicole from reception, who made check-in quick and easy. This will definitely not be my last stay, and I come again and more ..
If you are planning on visiting Abu Dhabi in the foreseeable future avoid the Rosewood. A beautiful hotel but there is construction work at the front of the building that starts at all hours. Today I was first woken at 2am, then again at 4am and work commenced at 5am. There are deals to be had but look elsewhere.

I would like to formally express my concern regarding the conduct of Ms. Thinzar Phyoe during my recent interaction with her. I found her manner of communication to be rude and unprofessional. As a guest, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect; however, the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the level of service provided. In the hospitality industry, professional and respectful communication is essential to ensuring a positive guest experience. I believe this matter should be reviewed, and I kindly request that appropriate action, guidance, or additional training be provided to help improve future guest interactions. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will review this concern and take the necessary steps to maintain the high standards of customer service expected by your establishment.
