Our measures include health declaration forms on arrival; temperature checks for all guests and colleagues; PPE available for all guests to use during their stay; such as face masks; disinfectant hand sanitisers and disposable gloves; PPE worn by all staff throughout the hotel; significant increases in regular disinfection conducted across all hotel areas; increased cleaning in place of air handling and fan coil units as well as regular maintenance and filter changes; increased cleaning in place of all hard surfaces throughout hotel public areas and in guest rooms; increase anti-viral disinfection measures in place for all in room soft furnishings and surfaces; table distancing measures in dining outlets.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

I had a wonderful stay at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi and was genuinely impressed by the hotel. The property is absolutely beautiful and one of those places where the scale, architecture and details really make an impression. It is grand and spectacular, but still manages to feel elegant rather than simply enormous.
What surprised me most was the level of personalized service. Given the sheer size of the property, I usually do not expect a hotel on this scale to deliver the kind of personal service I associate with Mandarin Oriental, but the team really did.
Olga, the Director of Guest Services, was delightful, as were Faustine and Sofia from check-in and guest services. They were all incredibly warm and welcoming. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful gesture of giving me a fan as a loyal fan of Mandarin Oriental. It was such a simple but personal touch, and I really appreciated it.
Amir at Talea was excellent, and so was Daria at Vendome and Asaad at the Spa. Nuwan from the bell team deserves a special mention. Nuwan had only assisted me once before, yet he remembered my name when I saw him again. Those little details make such a difference and are exactly the sort of personalized service I have come to associate with Mandarin Oriental. There were many other members of the team (including the housekeeping) who offered very personal, excellent service as well.
I also really enjoyed the many conversations I had with members of the team during my stay. Despite the size of the hotel, there was a genuine warmth and friendliness that made the experience feel much more personal than I had expected.
Emirates Palace is an extraordinary property, and the combination of its beautiful architecture, luxurious surroundings and thoughtful service makes it a very memorable place to stay. The scale is impressive, but it was the people who made the experience feel personal.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was very happy to see that the personalized service associated with Mandarin Oriental can still shine through at a hotel of this size. I would be very happy to return.
This country and this hotel offer the best of everything.
The opulence of Mandarin Oriental, Emirates Palace is second to none, but what surprised us most was not just the grandeur—it was the extraordinary, meticulous attention to detail from the people who work here.
Just a few examples, although there were so many.
Claudia and the Guest Services team somehow made sure that every restaurant we booked knew about us, with personal notes, special tables, surprises and memories waiting for us along the way.
Ali, who looked after our room, would even clean our sunglasses and carefully tidy the cables. The room was immaculate—cleaned, tidied and reset beautifully every day, every time.
The ALMA team on the Oriental side organised a beautiful surprise goodbye for us on our final day, completely out of nowhere.
Then there was Hugo, one of the restaurant managers at Strawfire, who simply could not do enough to give us the best possible experience. We went back twice in the same week—and, had we had the time, we probably would have returned every day.
Yet every restaurant here is an experience in itself. The Lebanese Terrace; the atmosphere at Hakkasan; Strawfire, where the Japanese food was among the best we have had; the fun at Broadway; even the ceviche at nearby SUSHISAMBA, which for us was on another level compared with London.
You could spend an entire stay simply exploring the restaurants on-site and nearby.
And if you come with children—although we didn’t, as I was here partly for business—prepare to be amazed. The family side feels almost like Florida dialled up to 10: camels and falcons on-site, sports, pools and seemingly endless things to do. Then, on the Oriental side, adults can retreat into complete calm and tranquillity and sip cocktails by the pool.
Beyond the Palace, Abu Dhabi itself is extraordinary. From the Louvre Abu Dhabi to Ferrari World and everything in between, it sometimes feels as though Miami, Disney and New York had a child—and somehow gave it the best of everything.
And this level of thoughtfulness continued every day. Balloons, flowers, handwritten notes, messages on mirrors—there is a very long list I could write about the small details that made our stay exceptional.
The restaurants are magnificent. The beach is white and pristine, almost Maldivian. Even restaurants and brands we know well from Mayfair somehow feel completely different here. Abu Dhabi—and Emirates Palace in particular—takes hospitality to another level.
Beyond the hotel, I have also been struck by the UAE itself: its ambition, energy, extraordinary pace of development and the scale of the business opportunities here. It feels like a country building for the future.
I have travelled extensively and stayed in many exceptional hotels around the world, yet I very rarely leave reviews. I normally only write one when something stands out so much that I simply cannot leave without giving genuine praise.
This is one of those occasions.
The danger of staying at Emirates Palace is very simple:
It may spoil every other hotel for you.
So far, for us: THE BEST HOTEL ON EARTH.
Why? Because it somehow has everything.
Some of the finest restaurants in the country. Extraordinary facilities for families on one side and a wonderful adults-only experience on the other. A spectacular white beach. Second-to-none opulence and grandeur.
And yet, despite its enormous scale and magnificence, it manages to deliver something much harder to achieve: warm, friendly and remarkably personal attention to each individual guest.
That combination is what makes Emirates Palace exceptional.
We came expecting one of the world’s great hotels.
We leave wondering how anywhere else is going to compare.

Our stay at Emirates Palace was one of those experiences that truly stays with you. From the very first moments, you can feel the exceptionally high standard — from the service and interiors to the dining experience and attention to the smallest details. The hotel itself is incredibly impressive. The interiors are beautiful, elegant and luxurious, yet at the same time the atmosphere allows you to genuinely relax, slow down and enjoy your stay. Everything is perfectly maintained, the spaces are exceptional, and the level of comfort fully lives up to the reputation of this hotel. The service deserves special recognition. Every member of staff we interacted with was extremely professional, kind and helpful. We truly felt that nothing was ever a problem — every request was handled immediately, and the team always looked for ways to make our stay even more comfortable. The food was also outstanding. The quality of the ingredients, the wide variety, the excellent preparation of every dish and the high standard of restaurant service made every meal a pleasure. A very special thank you to Olga Kutsenok, who played a huge part in making our holiday so exceptional. Her approach to guests, professionalism and dedication go far beyond standard hotel service. Thanks to her, our stay exceeded even our highest expectations and became even more luxurious. Olga took wonderful care of us and made us feel like truly special guests. Emirates Palace is not simply a beautiful and luxurious hotel. It is a place where the entire team makes it possible to truly switch off, relax and enjoy a few days without having to worry about anything at all. We left feeling completely rested, delighted and with the sense that we had received exactly the level of luxury and service you would expect from a hotel of this calibre — and in many ways, even more.
