Barcelo Resort Mussanah

This is my second time staying here.The staffs are very nice, Especially Mr.Haider Alajmi,Receptionist. He is very kind and attentive staff.I will return to this again next time.

Recommended Hotel that you should stay when you come to Oman!!

I had a wonderful experience at this resort! Everything was clean, relaxing, and well organized. A special thank you to my friend Haider who is very helpful, friendly, professional and welcoming as well as Mr Abd. Rahim,too. Your kindness, professionalism, and welcoming smile made my stay even more enjoyable. You work so hard, and it truly shows. I’m proud of you and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation. Keep up the amazing work!

One of the best trip we had. As our first timer here, we enjoyed it overall.

Some things didn’t meet our expectations but it can be improved and we hope the next we come back, everything will be better.

The check in queue was very long, we waited for 20-30mins. When we got the keycards, we went to the room but unfortunately the keys are not working. We had to wait maybe 15mins more coz the staff said they will send somebody to open it, and with the hallway a little hot plus a baby who’s tired from travel, it wasn’t what we wished to experience. I had to go down to inform the reception about the issue, and when I came back, there were staff there already who opened the door. Thank you! They instructed us that it’s possible that the sea breeze when the terrace doors are opened causes the moist inside the room and sometimes affects the door.

We headed immediately to the pool area and my baby loved it! We enjoyed it!

The dinner and breakfast are excellent. Good thing we arrived early as the people started to crowd the place a little later on. High chairs were available too. So it’s a great help.

Dining staff are amazing and helpful!

There’s an event outside (beachfront) going on at night til 11pm, we enjoyed it even just by chilling on our terrace.

Also, they gave us complimentary cake for our birthday. Appreciate it so much!

Just wondering why there are no slippers or bathrobe provided, maybe its really not provided but we hope next time there will be. Also i wish there are mats or something at the floor coz it’s slippery for the kids when the floor gets moist from the breeze, and when coming out from the toilet.

Over all, these things can still be improved and I know the hotel management will do it coz they really try to give the guest outmost satisfaction.

Will surely comeback. It’s a home away from the city noise where we live. We enjoyed our stay 💗
