This stunning beachside resort has been designed to offer the very best in relaxation as well as five star service. Using the spa facilities is a highlight for guests with plenty of enriching therapies to choose from. You can also benefit from yoga or enjoy one of the traditional performances to gain an insight into the local culture.
The five star facilities at the Niraamaya Retreats, Surya Samudra include a choice of two restaurants as well as a bar, a library and a laundry service. There's also a picture-perfect pool surrounded by palm trees where you can relax in the sunshine. The beach is also particularly beautiful, whether you opt for a cooling swim or perhaps an evening stroll as the sun goes down.
When it's time to retire to bed, your accommodation is the perfect fit with the surroundings and ambiance of this glorious resort. Each of the Heritage Classic Cottages are elegantly furnished and enjoy high ceilings and a sense of space.
All rooms are air conditioned and have their own sit-out veranda along with a king size four poster bed, LCD TV, telephone, hairdryer, mini-bar (at a fee), tea/coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and even cotton organic bathrobes and comfy slippers.

Beautiful but overpriced
While the property is pleasant, the customer service is lacking. During a family trip, we encountered an issue with our crib breaking at night. The staff responded promptly and upgraded our room as compensation. However, the upgraded room lacked sufficient air conditioning. We were also promised an additional fan, but despite contacting the front desk, only one of the two rooms received it. The buffet breakfast was included, but it was canceled at the last minute without prior notification. Apart from the quiet environment, there are no notable aspects of the property.
Wonderful Niraamaya
I recently stayed at Niraamaya Spa Resort and had a truly wonderful experience. The service throughout my stay was exceptional, and the staff made every effort to ensure I was comfortable and well looked after.
A special thanks to Dr. Ajay Johnson for his excellent treatment, professionalism, and genuine care. His expertise made my wellness experience truly memorable.
I would also like to appreciate Hima at the spa for providing outstanding service with warmth and dedication. Prem, our driver, was extremely jovial, courteous, and always made our journeys enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Greetha, our housekeeper, whose attention to detail and cheerful attitude kept everything spotless and comfortable.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent hospitality, outstanding service, and a caring team. I highly recommend Niraamaya Spa Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. I would be delighted to visit again.

Beautiful and relaxing stay with enourmusly kind personal.
We had a great long stay at Niraamaya Retreats. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the Restaurant was amazing, we were usually served by the very nice Sherin. And we got a very good counseling from Dr. Lakshmi before enjoying our personalized massage sessions. The location is a beautiful oasis with a private beach.
A truly calming getaway
We went for a two night stay at Niraamaya, Kovalam. The location is exceptionally good. The hotel gave us an upgrade to a heritage suite. The room was located on cliff facing the sea such that we could see the vast fetch of Arabian see from our bed when the door was kept open and hear the waves to our hearts content. The food, pool, spa and activities were all exceptional. One of the best properties I have ever been. A special shout out to Mr Anand and his fabulous team who ensured top-notch hospitality and all our requirements were taken care of.

I have been to many wellness places in India and by far Niraamya is the bestest I can say,right from the beautiful beach property to the well informed doctors & therapists and the ever smiling helpful staff ,it nothing but just perfect! Food is delicious too,I loved my stay here so much…
