We went out for Dinner at the Rice Boat Restaurant at Taj Malabar, the food was top notch delicious and a special thanks to Ahilan for the best service and making our evening special.
A truly wonderful stay at Taj Malabar Palace, Kochi! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The entire team was warm, courteous and genuinely attentive, making us feel incredibly welcomed throughout our stay. The beautiful property, peaceful ambience and attention to detail made the experience even more special.
A very special mention to Elizabeth, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. What stood out was how proactive she was — she took the initiative even before our arrival, making sure everything was thoughtfully planned and taken care of. Throughout our stay, she continued to check in, anticipate our needs and personally ensure that everything was going smoothly. Her warmth, professionalism and genuine willingness to help really made a difference and are a wonderful reflection of the hospitality at Taj Malabar.
Kanwaljeet and Fatima were also extremely helpful, warm and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Every interaction with the team felt genuine and personal.
This is a fantastic hotel. The location is terrific, the facilities are very good, the rooms are very well decorated. The staff are fantastic. Every single staff member was courteous, greeted us and provided excellent service. It is one of the best hotel and spa experiences I've had. Highly recommend it.
Solo trip
This was my first time in Kochi and I am so glad I picked Taj Malabar. A quaint, quiet and charming hotel with history and luxury and service that is always unparalleled with Taj brand.
From the doormen to check in staff and a special mention to Abhay at the bar and Pepper + Rice boat restaurant staff who were simply amazing and accommodating to any sp requests for f&b. The food was excellent- breakfast to dinner to room service menu.
Spa was lovely - relaxing with a beautiful ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed my massage.
I took the hotel sunset cruise - it was quite easily one of the highlights of my trip. Had snacks and tea before which is included and set off on a beautiful cruise with live music ( peaceful flute) and a lovely lady explaining the history of island.
I used a local driver recommended by the hotel and he was simply wonderful and safe - altho I didn’t take any tour packages , he showed me half a day tour sights and also shopping etc
Highly recommend this hotel even for a peaceful getaway with great food and ambience!
The Taj Experience is altogether different. We are always pleasant surprised by the thoughtfulness, professionalism, hospitality and anticipation of every staff member - from the Gardeners to the Managers.
This time it was no different. We were with our extended family for sone important life events, and every detail was taken care of by the Hotel staff.
We were so happy to be in the resort for the three wonderful days that we had planned. Thank you Taj Malabar!
