Exceptional Food, Service & Ambiance
We had an amazing experience at Rice Boat while celebrating my parents' anniversary. The entire evening was memorable, thanks to the wonderful food, warm hospitality, and beautiful ambiance.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were attentive, friendly, and gave excellent recommendations, especially when it came to choosing the right dishes and portion sizes.
The food was outstanding—every dish was packed with flavor, and the spice levels were adjusted perfectly to suit our preferences. To top it all off, the team surprised us with an anniversary cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the celebration even more special.
The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, with a calm and elegant atmosphere that adds so much to the dining experience.
Highly recommend Rice Boat for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy exceptional food and service. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to visit again!

Our family had an amazing birthday celebration at Rice Boat, Taj Malabar, and everything exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Ahilan for planning the event so beautifully and making every detail perfect.
The birthday surprise, cultural performances, and choir made the evening truly unforgettable. The food was exceptional, and compliments to Chef Manoj and Chef Rizwan for the delicious dishes and excellent presentation.
A big thank you to Jomon, Victor, and Jibin for their wonderful hospitality and for ensuring everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Highly recommended!

A huge thank you to Ahilan, who planned everything so perfectly from start to finish. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the birthday surprise was absolutely amazing. Along with the wonderful food, the team made the evening extra special with beautiful cultural performances and a choir, creating memories that our family will always cherish.
Special appreciation to Chef Manoj and Chef Rizwan for the outstanding food and beautiful presentation. Every dish was delicious and prepared with great care.

Short but sweet stay
We stayed at the Taj Malabar on our way back from Munnar to Mumbai. So we were at the property only for a nights stay. We were welcomed by the vivacious Elizabeth, whose walk through about the amenities and things to do in Cochin was to the point and very helpful. The cultural welcome was a treat and special ! My sister is vegan and the chef and the staff at Pepper were hands on in assisting her. Suriya was always meandering closeby ensuring we had all that we needed at all times. The entire staff was welcoming and courteous. Thank you for making our short stay so memorable !! 😊😊🥰

"I recently stayed at the Taj Malabar, Cochin, from June 13th to 14th to celebrate my son’s birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is excellent, and the service was top-notch throughout our stay.
I want to extend a very special thank you to Ms. Shubangi from the reservations team. She was incredibly helpful and truly went above and beyond to make our day special. She kindly arranged a Sea View sunset room for us and even organized a cake as a surprise, which my son absolutely loved. Her attention to detail and hospitality made our celebration memorable.
