One of the best stays I’ve experienced in Kochi. The atmosphere was calm, relaxing, and luxurious, with exceptionally friendly staff and excellent facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable.
The location is also extremely convenient, being right next to Lulu Mall, and the hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the mall, which is a great added convenience. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a great variety of options and delicious food.
Unfortunately, the only disappointing aspect of our stay was the spa. We decided to have a massage on our last night, and the experience fell well below our expectations. The spa therapists did not demonstrate the level of hospitality we would expect from a Marriott property, and there did not appear to be any consistent treatment rituals or SOPs being followed. The massage itself was below average, and the overall experience felt very dependent on how each therapist chose to conduct the treatment.
Given the standards and reputation of Marriott, we had expected much more from the spa experience. What was particularly disappointing was that, even after sharing our honest feedback, there was no meaningful acknowledgement or gesture of consolation from the team.
That said, we would definitely return to the hotel and would happily recommend it to others. However, based on this experience, we would unfortunately not consider using the spa again.
