Our stay at W Goa, Vagator, was truly special, not just for the property itself, but for the people who shaped our experience.
Mr. Nishal Seebaluck, the General Manager, set the tone. Warm, approachable, and genuinely engaged, he spoke with us about our preferences, shared his career journey, and even noticed me taking pictures, kindly offering to take one of my wife and I together. He graciously extended our checkout time to 6 p.m., which made a meaningful difference.
Chef Avinash took lunch to another level after Nishal personally involved him. He arranged a terrific fish tikka and chicken biryani with his Indian cuisine team, some of the best we had on the trip, and he even checked upon us if the food was served as expected and did a fantastic job serving us just the perfection.
Mr. Anchit at reception made check-in seamless and handled an air-conditioning concern with genuine care and follow-through.
Mr. Pranav from the hospitality team stood out again and again. From first day lunch to breakfast and beyond, he made sure we were comfortable. He asked what drinks we liked, recommended refreshing cocktails, and even served us himself when we were having our own food.
Chef Nikhil was a highlight, starting with a great conversation at Rockpool Bar. For our special occasion dinner, he arranged a Chinese meal with fantastic prawns, chicken, and noodles, plus complimentary cocktails and recommendations for local spots to capture more of Goa's vibe.
Chef Anirudh deserves his own paragraph. He made the best omelet I've ever had, perfectly cooked exactly the way I asked. He served it personally and asked for feedback, which said a lot about his care.
We were also charmed by Ms. Pritha, warm, attentive, and consistently checking in to ensure we were comfortable.
The sports team member, possibly Mr. Azar, ensured our pickleball sessions were genuinely fun, flexibly adjusting timing so we never felt rushed.
The Rock Pool Bar had a great vibe, with excellent cocktails chosen for us by the team and a special server who's probably the best human being I've met in recent years (don't remember the name, blame the great cocktails). Access to Vagator Beach was easy and enjoyable. The rooms were spotless and spacious, the bathrooms immaculate, and the spa and indoor pool felt magical. Food across the property was consistently excellent and fairly priced. From the buggy service to the clean, green grounds, everything felt cared for.
What made W Goa stand out most, though, was the people. Nishal, Avinash, Anchit, Pranav, Chef Nikhil, Chef Anirudh, Pritha, and the sports team member, all contributed something memorable. And if I had to single out one, Nishal's leadership and personal care really embodied the spirit of our stay. W Goa absolutely lived up to the name. We left with fantastic memories and a real appreciation for every little thing they did. Huge thanks to the entire W Goa team. You made this stay genuinely special, and we'll remember it.
I've been to many luxury resorts but I tell you, this one falls in one of the worst.. Zero management, poor services, Highly overrated. They are short-staffed hence the services are poor and rooms and amenities are not upto the mark.. the only good thing about this property is the location and that's it.. Highly recommend not to book - too overrated.
A Much-Needed Girls’ Getaway at W Goa! 🌴✨
The views at W Goa were absolutely on point, the hospitality was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious! The ocean villa offered mesmerizing views, and we loved the rock pool, the beach, and the flatbread pizza.
A special mention to Neha, the Voyager Manager, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and Chef Nikhil, who went out of his way to get us the best filter coffee, specially made for us. ❤️ These thoughtful little gestures made our stay even more memorable.
We were three girls who desperately needed a break, and W Goa truly helped us make the most of it. What stood out was how well taken care of we felt. Cabs were arranged for our night outings, and the duty manager made sure we were safe even late at night. The buggy drivers were equally sweet, helpful, and always ready to assist.The room service was the best.
The only minor drawbacks were a slightly squeaky extra bed and an ageing ottoman in the washroom. Apart from these little things, everything was pretty much on point!
The views, the food, the people, and the thoughtful hospitality made this a much-needed and memorable escape. Thank you, W Goa, for making our girls’ getaway so special! 💕🌊

Had a really good stay at W Goa. The property has a vibe of its own — stylish, relaxed and surrounded by beautiful greenery. There’s something really nice about just being there and taking in the atmosphere.
The room was beautiful, spacious and very well designed. I loved the ambience and attention to detail — luxurious, but still very relaxed and very Goa.
RockPool was definitely one of the highlights for me. The setting overlooking Vagator is beautiful, and spending time there with the sea and cliffs around you was one of those moments that stays with you.
The location is also fantastic if you want to explore Vagator and North Goa while still having a proper resort experience.
A couple of things, however, could have been better.
During booking, we were not informed that the swimming pool wet deck was not operational. We came to know about it only through an email after the booking was already made. I feel this could have been communicated clearly at the time of booking, especially since pool facilities can be an important part of choosing a resort.
The dining experience also fell a little short for me. Breakfast didn’t quite feel like the Marriott experience I was expecting from a property of this level. The breakfast area felt relatively small and cramped, especially during busy hours.
For dinner, Spice Traders was the only operational restaurant during our stay. The ambience was lovely, but I felt the menu had relatively limited options. A little more variety would have made the dining experience feel more complete.
Apart from these points, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The room, the property, RockPool and the overall W vibe made it a memorable experience. It’s a beautiful property with a lot of character, and with a little more attention to communication and the dining experience, it could be an even more complete stay.
