Had an absolutely amazing Sunday brunch at JW Marriott! The food, ambience, and overall experience were wonderful, making it such a lovely way to spend a Sunday with my family.
A very special shoutout to Bidhya, who was the most gracious and amazing host. She made the entire experience incredibly seamless, welcoming, and genuinely fun for me and my family. Her warmth and attention to detail really stood out and made the brunch even more memorable.

Room- super comfortable and clean with all the amenities one expects Cleanliness of all the common areas was superb! Food- breakfast buffet is impressive and the taste won’t let you down.. again service is the highlight! The most memorable feature is the impeccable service and hospitality! Have been to many Taj properties in India but this time MARRIOT topped it in service quality! My 4 year old was overjoyed with the little surprises they had.. It is very easy to locate the hotel and it’s just a 2 minute drive from VAGATOR beach. I would highly recommend visiting Morjim beach as well( it’s breathtaking)…
The newest property in Marriott Group’s portfolio in Goa, the JW Marriott in Vagator, met all our expectations and exceeded a few.
The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful interiors and plenty of inviting spaces to relax in beyond the room and lobby.
The rooms felt new and were very well-appointed, with all the luxuries you would expect.
We were assigned a point of contact, Mr. Sachid, who was always just a message away and extremely helpful throughout our stay.
The one thing that would push me to rate the hotel beyond five stars, if that were possible, would be the overall level of service.
Right from our airport pickup by concierge associate Shawn to the wait staff at their restaurants and bars — Roji at Heliconia and Shain at Perola — we had a near-flawless service experience.
Heliconia does a wonderful job with Nikkei cuisine, and I would recommend it even if you are not staying at the hotel. JW Kitchen, their all-day restaurant, offers an extensive breakfast spread, although the à la carte experience was a little disappointing.
From a location point of view, it is close to several high-quality restaurants such as Izumi, Hosa, Jamun, and many more. It is about a kilometre away from the beach, which is worth considering if you are specifically looking for a beachfront property.
Having said that, the hotel delivers on all counts and is a place I would highly recommend.
