Had a really good stay at JW Marriott Goa, and still In House, about to leave !

It is, without doubt, a luxury property with very high standards. The architecture and interiors are beautifully done — modern, contemporary and at the same time earthy enough to make the property feel warm. The rooms, fixtures, hotel layout, very convenient elevators and especially the pool bar are all extremely well thought out.

But if I had to describe JW Marriott Goa in one line, I would say:

This is a hotel about its PEOPLE. The PEOPLE.

And that is what stayed with me the most.

A very special and BIG BIG BIG BIG thank you to Sanju — the Superstar, Himanshu and none other than Mr. Naman from JW Kitchen.

I have been to quite a few luxury hotels and restaurants, and there is certainly no shortage of high standards at these properties. What stood out at JW Kitchen was the personalised approach.

They don’t just try to satisfy you. They genuinely try to go one step further and spoil you.

Preparing something for us at breakfast which was actually from the dinner menu. Taking care of our departure. Packing food for our journey. Going out of their way to accommodate what we wanted.

These may sound like small things, but these are exactly the things that you remember.

The chefs and the entire JW Kitchen team maintain very high standards, but they don’t let those standards become rigid. There is a genuine willingness to customise, accommodate and make things happen. For me, that is what luxury hospitality should actually be about.

We did face some communication and coordination issues during check-in and for a few hours after checking in. A few things weren’t communicated properly, and it took more effort than it should have to reach the right person.

But after speaking with Mr. Akhilesh, things literally took a U-turn.

He stepped in, understood the situation and made sure things were taken care of. From that point onwards, the experience was completely different.

The resort is also extremely family friendly — the kids’ play area, small kids’ pool, jacuzzi pool and game zone are all great additions.

The only other point I would mention is the room size. The rooms are beautifully designed, but for a family with children and luggage, they can feel a little tight.

The sit-down check-in is another lovely touch and makes the arrival experience much more relaxed.

But ultimately, I will remember JW Marriott Goa less for its beautiful architecture, luxurious surroundings or impressive facilities — and much more for the people who took care of us.

Sanju. Himanshu. Naman. Mr. Akhilesh. And the entire JW Kitchen team.

Oh man! What an incredible experience! We stayed at JW Marriott Goa as part of a business/leisure trip with our office colleagues, and honestly, everything was top-notch!

From the warm welcome to the incredibly smooth check-in process to location, everything was beyond what you would expect from a JW Marriott property. The room was beautiful, the property itself was stunning, and every little detail reflected the quality and hospitality you’d hope for.

The amenities were excellent, and the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay.

A special shout-out to the food and the chefs — absolutely amazing! Every meal we had was delicious, and the overall dining experience was fantastic.

What really stood out was the consistency of the service and the genuine hospitality from the entire team. Whether it was for business, leisure, or simply a relaxing getaway, this property delivers on every front.

Hands down, one of the best hotels to stay at in North Goa!
