Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had to cancel our stay because our 2.5-year-old child has a high fever, my wife is unwell, and my 70-year-old mother is also unwell. I had already paid ₹49,648.
I understand the cancellation policy, and I am not insisting only on a refund. I have offered reasonable alternatives: first, transferring the full amount as a credit towards a future stay; second, moving the booking to alternative dates; or, if neither is possible, considering a meaningful partial refund.
I have contacted the hotel repeatedly over the last two days. Today, after being told I would receive a callback, I escalated the matter by email and through Taj’s central desk. Despite repeated assurances, I have received no response.
Very disappointing handling of a genuine family medical situation. I sincerely hope senior management at Taj/IHCL takes notice and reviews this personally.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Birthday Memory We’ll Treasure Forever ❤️
We chose Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa for a very special reason — our little daughter’s first birthday. As a mother, I had been looking forward to this day for months, and I really wanted her first birthday to be something we would remember forever.
I can genuinely say that the team at Taj Holiday Village made the occasion even more beautiful than I had imagined.
What touched me the most was the warmth and personal attention we received throughout our stay. It never felt like we were simply celebrating a birthday at a resort. The team made a real effort to make our little girl feel special, and that meant a lot to us as parents.
One of the most beautiful surprises was returning to our room and seeing it decorated so thoughtfully for her birthday. The decoration, the cake and all the little details came together beautifully and made the celebration feel incredibly personal.
A special thank you to Andrea, who coordinated the arrangements for the cake and decoration and made sure everything came together smoothly. Her attention to detail and coordination really helped make the day stress-free and special for us.
I would also like to thank Diksha, the Duty Manager, for being so warm and attentive. She made us feel very comfortable and was always approachable whenever we needed anything.
A big thank you to Nikita as well for her warmth and friendly nature, which made our stay even more pleasant.
And a special mention to Virender and Venu, who beautifully decorated our room. The effort they put into it was evident, and seeing the room decorated for our daughter was genuinely a lovely moment for us.
Travelling with a one-year-old can sometimes be unpredictable, but the team made us feel so comfortable that we could actually relax and enjoy the celebration.
The resort itself is beautiful, but what I will remember most is the kindness and genuine warmth of the people who made our daughter’s first birthday so memorable.
Thank you to everyone at Taj Holiday Village for being part of such an important milestone in our family. We came to celebrate her first birthday, but we left with memories that will stay with us for a very long time. ❤️

An Exceptional Stay at Taj Holiday Village, Goa – Hospitality at Its Best! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We recently had a wonderful stay at Taj Holiday Village, Goa, and the experience was truly exceptional. What stood out the most was the warmth of the hospitality, the attention to detail, and the incredible way the entire team made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay.
From the very beginning, the experience was seamless. Andrea and Diksha from the Front Desk were absolutely fantastic. They went out of their way to help us with an early check-in, and the entire process was handled so smoothly and professionally. Their warm and welcoming attitude set the perfect tone for our stay.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the room upgrade, which was a wonderful gesture and made our stay even more special. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for a family holiday. The room service was also excellent — prompt, courteous, and attentive to every little request.
🍽️ Exceptional Dining & Jain Hospitality
One of the biggest highlights for us was the dining experience. As a family with Jain dietary requirements, we are always particular about food preparation, and the team at Taj Holiday Village went above and beyond to ensure that our requirements were met completely and without any compromise.
A special mention to Chitresh, the restaurant manager, who was fabulous. He personally ensured that everything was taken care of and that our dining experience was comfortable and stress-free.
Shefali, another wonderful manager, was extremely helpful and attentive throughout our meals.
A huge shout-out to Chef Puneet and Chef Ravi, who were both fantastic and took great care in understanding and accommodating our dietary requirements.
And a very special mention to Chef Lily from the Thai restaurant — she was absolutely wonderful. Her effort, warmth, and willingness to accommodate our Jain requirements made the experience truly memorable.
It is not easy to find a luxury hotel where Jain food requirements are understood so thoroughly, but the team here made us feel completely at ease.
🧸 The Kids’ Play Area – A True Highlight!
For us, travelling with a child, the kids’ play area was one of the biggest highlights of the property.
I have stayed at several hotels across India, but honestly, I haven’t seen many hotels put together such a wonderful range of activities and engagement for children.
A very special appreciation for Xavier, Manju, Angela, and Piru. All four of them were absolutely amazing with the kids.
They were energetic, patient, warm, attentive, and genuinely involved with the children. They didn’t simply supervise the kids — they actively engaged with them, kept them entertained, encouraged them to participate, and made sure they were having fun throughout.
Their interaction with the children was truly commendable. You could see that they genuinely enjoy working with kids, and that makes a huge difference to the experience of families staying at the hotel.
Xavier, Manju, Angela, and Piru are a complete asset to Taj Holiday Village. The work they are doing with the children is exceptional and deserves special recognition.

Overall, what made our stay memorable wasn’t just the beautiful property, the location, or the facilities — it was the people.
Every interaction we had with the hotel team was warm, professional, and thoughtful. From the front desk to housekeeping, restaurants, room service, and especially the kids’ team, everyone contributed to making our holiday feel effortless.
Taj Holiday Village has created something very special for families — a place where parents can relax knowing that their children are also having an amazing time.
