Perfect Family Getaway for a Birthday Celebration!
We recently visited the Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort to celebrate our son's birthday, and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. We booked three rooms for our family and were thrilled to get rooms facing the pool. It was fantastic and almost felt like we had our own private pool experience! The property itself is beautiful and, thankfully, didn't feel crowded at all. One of the best perks is the direct beach access, making it incredibly easy to just step out and enjoy the sand. The resort is very well-spaced out, and the kids absolutely loved having so much open space to play and run around. We dined at the Sea Gull restaurant, and the food was very good. I also want to give a special mention to Calvon, who provided outstanding service during our dinner and really took great care of our family. Overall, a brilliant and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this property for families looking for a great resort in South Goa!

A Wonderful Friends & Family Getaway — Exceptional Hospitality at Novotel Dona Sylvia Resort
We stayed at Novotel Dona Sylvia Resort from 20–23 August 2026, a big friends & family group of 8 adults and 4 kids, and the entire team made it an absolutely memorable trip.
A special thank you to Gita Naik, Guest Experience and Loyalty Manager, who went out of her way to arrange a room upgrade for us as an Accor Platinum member — the kind of thoughtful, personal touch that makes all the difference when travelling with family.
Dennis Dcosta, the General Manager, ensured the whole property ran seamlessly and that we felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. Ashish Verma from the F&B team took great care of us at every meal, always attentive and warm. And Jagdish, the bartender at Mama Mia, deserves a special mention — his drinks and his energy added so much to our evenings there.
With a large group spanning three generations, we needed a resort that could keep everyone happy, and Novotel Dona Sylvia delivered on every front — the rooms, the food, the grounds, and above all, the people. Highly recommend this property for families and large groups alike. We'll be back!
