I visited hotel J with one of my Kashmir Agents to both hotel main restaurant and the Sundown roof top restaurant and it was extremely fantastic experience to see the clear sunset from Sundown while you are preparing for the dinner. Thank you Vimukthi and Shane for your hospitality and the service with your team and showing us your fabulous rooms with a privet balcony facing to the beach. And I must thank you guys specially, my agent was very happy with your foods and the service.
I left my wallet in the hotel with more than $1000. Kalana helped me alot and handed over my wallet to me at the airport and all money was in it. Great Experience
Very convenient for a first or last night on the island, as it’s very close to the airport and perfect if you just need a place to sleep for one night. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but it was absolutely fine.
The staff were very kind and welcoming. A special thank you to Kalana at reception for his kindness and help.
Very good service specially of a guy named Kalana. We had a clean room, sadly without windows, but the wash room was in a good condition.
I have mixed feelings about the hotel. Firstly I paid half the room rate as an advanced payment to book the room but upon arrival they changed me the full amount. Luckily about an hour later I checked my bank balance and informed them and they refunded and also deducted a very small amount from my room rate as an apology. Secondly, when we arrived we (me and 2 kids under 8) were told we were upgraded to the 2nd floor but the moment the keys were handed to me, and apology was made and I was told my room is actually 109 in the first floor. I didn't mind but when I went up, it was the room at the far end right next to the service room. And because the service room door was forever open there were many mosquitos that ended up in our room as well. Thirdly, the TV did not work. I wouldn't have minded this much but I was with 2 small kids who needed entertainment. I didn't fuss about changing the room because I hoped to keep the kids in the pool as much as I can. Having said the above, the room and bathroom were pretty clean and spacious for a budget hotel, staff was friendly and helpful especially when I requested to take breakfast up to the room because my youngest didn't eat much. And even though it is small it was perfect for us, would be perfect for anyone looking for budget options for a weekend.
