I visited this hotel with my family on 2nd July for my daughter’s birthday and my daughter and I had a massage at the spa. We had an amazing experience, the ladies who did our massages were so friendly, kind and professional. They made experience special and did one of the best massages we have had. Thank you ladies. We also had lunch at the hotel in the main restaurant, wow! Fantastic food, great choices and so much to eat. The chef and all the staff were so helpful and made us so welcome. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

Our stay at Anantara Kalutara Resort was the final stop of our Sri Lanka trip, and I can confidently say it was the most memorable experience of our entire journey. The resort exceeded every expectation we had, delivering a level of hospitality that truly defines luxury. From the moment we arrived until the time we departed, every interaction was warm, genuine, and thoughtfully personalized.

A very special thank you to Mr. Lakshan, Front Office Manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. He ensured every aspect of our visit was seamless and personally arranged a stunning One Bedroom Pool Suite for us. The suite was absolutely breathtaking, and every detail reflected the care and thought that had gone into creating a memorable experience. Throughout our stay, Lakshan constantly checked on us, ensuring everything was perfect and that we were enjoying every moment. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly valued.

We were also warmly welcomed by Deelshan during our check-in. He was exceptionally kind, courteous, and welcoming. His cheerful personality, genuine smile, and efficient service made the arrival process effortless. He patiently explained the resort facilities, answered all our questions with enthusiasm, and made us feel at home from the very first moment. It’s rare to meet someone who combines professionalism with such heartfelt warmth, and Deelshan certainly left a lasting impression.

What made our experience even more special was meeting Mr. Christoph Dueker, Cluster General Manager. It is not every day that a General Manager personally takes the time to meet guests, but Mr. Christoph did exactly that. His humility, warmth, and sincere interest in ensuring we were having a wonderful stay spoke volumes about his leadership. He genuinely cared about our experience and took the time to interact with us, making us feel truly appreciated. His presence perfectly reflects the exceptional culture of hospitality that exists throughout the resort.

The entire team at Anantara Kalutara deserves immense appreciation. Every staff member greeted us with a smile, anticipated our needs, and consistently delivered service with genuine care. The beautiful surroundings, luxurious accommodation, delicious dining experiences, and peaceful atmosphere made this the perfect place to conclude our holiday.

This has undoubtedly been one of the finest hotel experiences I have ever had, and it is entirely because of the incredible people who made us feel so special. Luxury can be found in beautiful resorts, but genuine hospitality comes from extraordinary people—and Anantara Kalutara has some of the very best.

We had our wedding at Anantara, and it turned out to be a beautiful experience. Everything went smoothly. Thilakshi was really helpful and efficient in communication to make sure everything happened on time. Mr Priyantha was also incredibly supportive in making the day beautiful. Chef Isuru made sure the food was delicious, and all the guests loved the buffet. The menu was incredible, and everything paired so well. It was a lovely wedding thanks to the team at the hotel.
