Lovely hotel, great location in the city, however the quoted price to our guide was increased by over 50% because we were foreigners. Our guide argued the point and we were offered a refund, however given the time of day, we had no option but to pay the foreigner price.
Zest Metropole service was great. The breakfast buffet was very varied and accommodated all tastes. Staff and location were very good and helpful. This was our 1st hotel in Sri Lanka and we were not disappointed .
We had a wonderful and luxurious stay in Rooms 706 & 806. Everything was excellent, good location , value for money , rooms are clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
