The Steuart by Citrus

I only stayed here one night but it was a good night. The hotel is in an excellent location. Easy for the taxis to find and very central for walking. As well, it's in a neighborhood on quiet streets (traffic wise) with lots of good restaurants and cafes and bars around, so if you want to go out at night you can do it without having to get a car or feel unsafe. The hotel is very nice. They greeted me with refreshing juice and it had a nice decor. The staff were very helpful. My room was maybe the biggest room I've ever stayed in in my life I don't know why it was so large, maybe it was a wheelchair accessible room? Anyway, I loved the room; it was decorated with different tartans and it had some charm to it. The hotel had great hot water and amenities and the Wi-Fi worked well. I would stay there again.

A very attractive Colonial style Hotel, right in the centre of Colombo One. No need to catch Taxis or Tuk Tuks staying here, everything is within a short walk from the hotel. Here are truly the biggest rooms of all of Colombo , superbly clean , recently refurbished bright rooms, with larger than normal bathrooms. The bar is a typically themed British Pub style , daily Happy Hour deals and live bands somenights. Nice friendly atmosphere to the restaurant and bar , and easy to make friends with foreigners and locals. There is a fantastic wide range of British style dishes on the menu, with all the old favourites. Each department have a dedicated , well trained and friendly staff , that will take good care of you. I highly recommend this hotel , restaurant and bar , and whenever I'm in Colombo, this is my first choice.
