Mandarina Colombo, a home from home!
Great stay. I enjoyed a truly professional and friendly service at the Mandarina Colombo from the Manager, Mahesh to the concierge, receptionist, the restaurant and housekeeping.
A disappointing stay
First, the room felt noticeably damp. Every time we entered, there was a musty smell, and even the bedding felt damp. Second, we stayed on a lower floor facing the street, and the soundproofing was terrible. Every morning and evening, the noise from the traffic outside was very loud. Third, the bathroom sink and faucet were very difficult to use, and there was no hot water. Fourth, the bathroom lacked a wet and dry separation, using only a shower curtain to block the water. Fifth, the staff's customer service was very mediocre, and the room didn't even provide disposable slippers. The hotel Wi-Fi frequently disconnects, check-in is very slow, and the Reception staff are very unprofessional. The room is much more outdated and run-down than it appears in the photos. Overall, it was a terrible experience. There are many other hotels you can choose from at this price, so I definitely would not recommend staying here.
