A Fabulous Stay — Above All, Wonderful People! As my trip draws to a close after nearly 10 days at the Hilton Colombo, I leave with a genuinely wonderful impression of this hotel. The facilities are excellent, the ambience is welcoming, and the restaurants offer a great variety. But above all, what has made my stay so memorable has been the staff. Hospitality is ultimately about people, and the Hilton Colombo has some exceptional young professionals who understand that very well. I particularly looked forward each day to the friendliness, courtesy and professionalism of the team in the Executive Lounge — Dinesh, Kiara, Chitma, Rashod, Ochana, Hoshi, Sasan and Sachith. Each, in their own way, contributed to making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their smiles, attentiveness and genuine desire to help never felt forced; it was simply good hospitality at its best. And the recognition should extend beyond the Lounge. Tony in Security, for example, demonstrated that customer service is everyone’s responsibility, regardless of department. A warm greeting, helpful attitude and personal attention can make an enormous difference to a guest. I could certainly add more names, which itself says something about the quality of the team. The management team has done a superb job. Hilton Colombo is a pleasant, comfortable and very welcoming hotel offering excellent value. More importantly, it is a hotel with people who make you want to return. I will certainly look forward to revisiting on my next trip to Colombo. Well done to the entire Hilton Colombo team!

The front desk team was incredibly welcoming. As a diamond member, the check-in was fast and a seamless experience, just what you need after a gruelling 19 hr flight.
Our room in the 16th floor was large, immaculate, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of Colombo, all from an incredibly comfortable bed.
Housekeeping was meticulous, ensuring the room was spotless and felt fresh and inviting each day. Also the high-speed Wi-Fi was rock-solid through the hotel.
What sets this hotel apart is the amazing customer service. Every single staff member we encountered greeted us with a genuine smile and asked if they could assist with anything.
In the Graze restaurant, the service was prompt, professional, and intuitive supported by the likes of Ms Sajee, Chethani, Fiona, Natasha and Ms Nirodhi to name but a few. The breakfast selection exceeded expectations.
Poolside service was fast and friendly (thanks Mr Lucky and Mr Haren) and the guest relations team checked in on us via text daily to ensure we had everything we needed.
The executive lounge is the crown jewel of this hotel and well worth paying the extra for an executive room just for the lounge access. Whilst other exec lounges struggle to maintain standards over time, the Lounge Manager Mr Krishantha ensures his team are always point. As a result the Executive Lounge located on the 2nd sets the gold standard for club floor luxury. Also great to see Mr Sachith use his decades of insight and experience in mentoring new team members (Ms Chithma and Mr Hoshi, Rashod and Sasan) in how to interact with a diverse international clientele (well done Sir, you deserve a promotion). As a result from the moment you walked into lounge you will be greeted by warm smiles, flawless service and the renowned Sri Lankan hospitality.
We have stayed at club floors all over the world, but the service professionalism of team and the culinary offerings here are unmatched.
The afternoon high tea with its selection of tasty fresh cakes overlooking the panoramic city and stunning hotel garden is a must. The space is beautifully designed, elegant and a peaceful oasis of calm. In the evening it was good to see dress standards enforced to ensure it felt like a high-end luxury experience. The evening canapé that included a selection of local and international specialties plus a rotating hot buffet that changes entirely every night plus a premium open bar with top-shelf spirits are unmatched.
