A Memorable Birthday Dinner at Galle Face Hotel
Had a wonderful dinner buffet experience at Galle Face Hotel while celebrating my father’s birthday. The food selection was excellent, with a great variety of dishes, and the overall atmosphere made the evening feel very special.
A lovely surprise was the complimentary birthday cake provided by the hotel, which added a really nice touch to our celebration.
A special thank you to Hashin and Dimasha for their warm, friendly, and attentive service throughout the evening. They made sure we were well taken care of and helped make my father’s birthday celebration even more memorable.
Overall, a great experience with delicious food, excellent hospitality, and thoughtful service. Highly recommended for a special occasion!

Dinner experience
Had a wonderful dinner buffet experience at The Verandah, Galle Face Hotel. The setting has such a timeless charm, and the atmosphere in the evening makes the experience feel even more special.
The buffet had a good variety of dishes across starters, mains and desserts. The food was fresh, well presented and enjoyable, and the service throughout the evening was warm and attentive.
A special mention to Dimasha, who assisted us during our dinner. She was very helpful, friendly and attentive, and her service made the experience even more pleasant.
What really stands out is the combination of good food, warm hospitality and the beautiful historic setting of Galle Face Hotel. A lovely place for a relaxed dinner with family or friends.
Definitely an enjoyable evening, and we would happily visit again.

Wonderful service and nice Locations
We came today for a wedding function, and the food was very good. It was a special family function for us, and we really enjoyed it. Thank you to Anuradha and the entire team for the excellent service. Special thanks to the Front Office team—Paul, Wasantha, Dharshi, and Emmanuel—for their great assistance with the room arrangements and for making our stay comfortable.
