Lovely, helpful family hotel
Great time at the Galle Face. Lovely atmosphere. Helpful friendly staff with a stand out for Emmanuel. Big salt water swimming pool giving space to relax from the wider sights of Columbo.
A Beautiful heritage hotel experience
I visited this beautiful hotel with my mom for the very first time, and we had a lovely experience enjoying a coffee while taking in the amazing sea view. The hotel is a beautiful colonial-style heritage property with a stunning sea view, and the location is wonderful. A special thank you to Darshi, Dinushi, and Ivoni from the Guest Relations Team for giving us such a warm and memorable welcome. Dinushi also gave us a wonderful history tour of the hotel, which made our visit even more special. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. I would also like to thank Bandara, Suranga, and Chandana from the Concierge Team for helping us with our luggage. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience. Such a wonderful heritage hotel
Great Experience
We stayed at Galle Face Hotel a few months ago and had a wonderful experience, thanks to the exceptional hospitality we received throughout our stay. We recently returned with our friends for a lovely outing and once again had a fantastic time. We enjoyed trying some new cuisines that we hadn’t experienced during our previous visit, which made the outing even more memorable. Special mentions go to Sazni, Tharuka, Humaith, and Melissa for their warm assistance and attentive service, from helping us with the reservation to ensuring we had a truly great experience at the hotel. We look forward to visiting Galle Face Hotel again soon!
Great stay
We stayed at the Galle Face Hotel last week and had a wonderful and memorable experience. The helpful staff, attractive surroundings, and delicious dishes added even more color to our stay. Special thanks to the Front Office team for their attentive, warm, and prompt service. Special mentions go to Tharuka, Sazni, Humaith, Fazna, and Belinda for their excellent hospitality and outstanding service throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time at the hotel and look forward to visiting again soon.
Great experience
I absolutely loved this Hotel – a slice of days long done. The corridors of this fantastic Building definitely have stories – politics,, subterfuge, secret deals and scandal have left their mark. The pool sunset over the Indian Ocean was spectacular and the breakfast was my inauguration into the pantheon of Sri Lankan curries. Wonderful staff, great experience.
