Location - average Atmospheric- average Rooms- average Sevice- very good. Especially Thenura who was very pro active in the restaurant and accommodated all our food needs and quirks. Amenities - average
2-part stay, 2 x 2 nights with a few days in between elsewhere. Very good location not far (by taxi at least) from main tourist and business districts. Spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable beds, bathrooms with all mod cons, but could perhaps have done with a couple more power points. Price perhaps a little high, especially after adding large amounts of various taxes, compared to some other Sri Lanka hotels. Price not helped by my apparently “room only” booking and was chased for Rs1900 breakfast cost every time I used it - not at all clear on Best Western website that my rate excluded this. Excellent bar / restaurant, partially outside, on 8th (top) floor with outstanding staff and great food and drink. I needed laundry facilities (suitcase mislaid by airline) but found it a little difficult to secure same-day service, perhaps similar to other SL hotels though. Check in very efficient but check out very slow and drawn out with multiple forms etc to be filled in. Overall a very good stay but maybe a few things to tighten up.
Near to colombo city but need some improvement.

We are here for 1 night and had a good experience with the people here working and the food was delicious. Service is excellent.
