Really rubbish hotel. Worst of a 6 stop tour of Sri Lanka.
Renovations are taking place and all superior rooms appeared to be impacted by noise. You could hear the sanding of the walls from the pool. The lifts were closed due to building works so you walked 300metres through corridors and up and down stairs to get to your room from either the pool or the restaurant … corridors were lines up with single bed frames and mattresses like some orphanage (assuming lack of storage during building).
We were offered an upgrade to the deluxe wing but it was still impacted and the beach is not a beach… it is the mouth of the river, and looked dirty and brown.
I checked us out and moved elsewhere which is an entirely different and perfect experience. Pay the extra cash and stay in Bentosa instead. Worth every penny.

Really enjoyed our experience here. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour, with generous portions and a great selection to choose from. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Special thanks to the friendly staff ayodya, sandunika, Nimesh and also kitchen staff Nethmi and Tharuka too. Would happily come back again.
Mr. Dinesh- the Restaurant Manager kept the dining area running smoothly with a warm, welcoming attitude. They personally checked in on us during meals, accommodated special requests with a smile. His leadership truly shines through the attentiveness of the entire dining team. Meanwhile, our Room Boy Mr. Nishantha did an immaculate job keeping our room spotless, fresh, and comfortable every single day. He was polite, prompt, and greeted us warmly whenever we crossed paths in the hallway. Employees like these are a massive asset to the property. We look forward to returning and will gladly recommend this hotel to friends and family!
