Great clean hotel, wonderful service. Very very helpful team who truely helps your stay to be comfortable. Rooms are spacious atmosphere is good. When ordering Uber be mindful the location pin initially suggests to turn right after passing the actual turn when heading towards the Galle.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Kosgoda as a group of 16 and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort. The property is beautiful, the rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the overall setting was relaxing and welcoming.
The food was one of the highlights of our stay, with an excellent choice of dishes and consistently good quality. We would like to mention Chef Thanu Sivakumar for looking after our breakfasts, and the kitchen team for preparing special dishes for us on request. We really appreciated their flexibility and effort in catering for a group of 16.
We would also like to acknowledge Edrian, the Restaurant Manager, Chamindu and Nishantha from the room management team, along with all the restaurant and resort staff, for their friendly and attentive service. Everyone we encountered was courteous, helpful and genuinely welcoming, which made our stay particularly enjoyable.
A special highlight was the farewell organised by the management with Edrian, including a beautiful thank-you cake. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture and a lovely way to end our stay. We truly appreciated the effort and warmth behind this lovely gesture.
One area that could be improved
The billing and payment process at checkout was quite confusing and time-consuming. The classification of some charges was not clear. In particular, snacks ordered around the pool were charged as room service, and it took some time for this to be explained properly.
As we were a group of 16, with couples having separate activities and payment arrangements, splitting and reconciling the bills became quite complicated. We spent a considerable amount of time at checkout trying to clarify the charges and organise the payments.
It would be helpful if the resort could make the classification of charges clearer and provide a more transparent itemised bill, particularly for larger groups with separate payment arrangements. This would make the checkout experience considerably smoother.
Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. The beautiful property, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent food and warm hospitality made Sheraton Kosgoda a memorable part of our trip.
We would be very happy to return and recommend Sheraton Kosgoda to others.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Excellent Stay at Sheraton Kosgoda First of all, I would like to give a very special thank you and appreciation to the Executive Chef for the outstanding quality of the food, excellent standards, and wonderful dining experience throughout our stay. I would also like to give a special thank you to Sathya from Guest Relations. Sathya was extremely friendly, professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made us feel very welcome and truly enhanced our stay. We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Kosgoda. The entire team was welcoming, friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. The hotel grounds and overall property were beautiful and very well maintained. Everything was clean, peaceful, and comfortable, with a wonderful atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy our holiday. The surroundings were especially beautiful, and the property felt very well cared for. I would especially like to recognize Raveen, who provided excellent service throughout our stay. He was always attentive, helpful, friendly, and had a very positive attitude. Kavesha, our runner, was also very polite and helpful, and we really appreciated her friendly service. A special thank you to Edrian, the Restaurant Manager, for his professionalism and excellent hospitality. Ghariba was also very kind and helpful, and we appreciated her warm attitude and assistance. At Olive Restaurant, Kevesh, the Souce Cheff , was very professional and attentive. His knowledge and positive attitude really stood out. We would also like to thank Dinesh from HSK for his hard work, polite service, and helpful attitude. Gayan, the gym instructor, was excellent — professional, friendly, and very helpful. A special compliment to Chatushka, one of the cooks at Olive Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. At Olive Restaurant, Salia, the Consulting Chef, deserves special recognition for the excellent quality and attention to detail. We particularly enjoyed the Amush bushe sweet-and-sour dish, the Rucsha, the Mango Salsa with Shrimps, the Seafood Bisque by Wasantha, and the Seafood Platter. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Overall, our experience at Sheraton Kosgoda was exceptional. The beautiful property, excellent food, wonderful staff, and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality made our holiday truly unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team, especially Sathya from Guest Relations, the Executive Chef, and the Olive Restaurant team, for making our stay so special.
