Even the most demanding visitors will be able to take advantage of the varied and exquisite restaurants and bars that can be found on-site, including seafood and Mediterranean tapas. Among the stunning facilities, visitors will enjoy a refreshing dip at the pool.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon, and I would especially like to appreciate Mr. Yomal for his excellent service during breakfast.
He served our table while I was there with my family and was extremely friendly, attentive, and polite throughout. Even though the breakfast area was quite busy, he always had a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. He was attentive to our needs and always happy to assist with a positive attitude.
His warm and friendly service really stood out and made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. It’s small touches like this that make a stay memorable.

We returned to Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon in July 2026, this time for our second visit, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. It was especially nice to return to a place we had enjoyed before and find the same beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere, excellent food, beautiful and clean rooms with sea view, and warm hospitality.
Our experience actually started with Dinithi Kawindi, who assisted us with our booking and made the arrangements very smoothly. During our stay, we were also very happy with the hospitality and assistance from Renuka from the hosting staff, as well as Jamitha, Thamasha need to mention for their lovely hospitality. Also, Tharushi, Thinogsha, Deegayu, Amrakeerthi, Uditha, Asoka, Pubudu, Prabath, Ravindu, Janitha, Chamod, Kavinda, and Malindu. Each of them contributed in their own way to making our stay comfortable and memorable.
One of the nicest parts of returning was meeting some familiar faces from our previous visit. It really felt special to see people we had met before, and that familiar feeling made our second stay even more enjoyable. The genuine friendliness of the staff is something we truly appreciate.
The location is still one of our favourite things about Hikka Tranz, the beautiful sea view, beach, swimming pool, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and spend quality time together. And once again, the food was excellent, with a great variety and consistently delicious quality throughout our stay.
When it was finally time to leave, we honestly felt as though we were leaving home rather than simply checking out of a hotel. That feeling says a lot about how comfortable, welcomed, and connected we felt during our stay.
After visiting for the second time, we can confidently say that Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon has become one of those special places we are always happy to return to. We enjoyed our stay once again, and we will definitely be back soon.

We were initially asked to shift our booking to Cinnamon Bay, whilst we were on the way to Hikka Tranz quoting an issue with a leakage in bedroom roofs etc. We didn't take that offer but went to the hotel anyway as we did not want to change our location last minute. Once we arrived at the hotel we learned that it was due to an overbooking over the weekend despite our booking being a GHA Gold member booking made and paid for 1 month in advance. We were allocated a room that was meant for differently abled persons with wider bathroom doors and bigger bathroom in the first floor out of the 4 floors. The check-in took more than half an hour to complete and got the room only around closer to 3pm after arriving at 2.30pm ( we delayed our arrival intentionally by 1 hour because of the roofing issue they mentioned until the rooms get ready) . We felt like we were not welcomed at the hotel. Having being to almost all the other Cinnamon branded hotels in Sri Lanka and also to a Cinnamon hotel in Maldives, this is the worst experience we had. We would not visit here again.

But what impressed us the most was the amazing staff! 🥰 Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. What made it even more special was how naturally the staff communicated with local guests in their mother tongue, making conversations feel more personal, comfortable, and welcoming. Their genuine smiles, kindness, and attention to little details made us feel truly valued. ❤️
🍽️ The food was another highlight! Everything we tried was delicious, with a great variety of dishes and flavours. We really enjoyed every meal! 😋
