Amazing Stay, Just One Thing Holding It Back
I travelled solo and found the Radisson Blu on Booking.com. I thought it looked like the perfect place to switch off and relax for a few days, and I’m really glad I chose it.
The room was honestly one of my favourite parts of the stay. The bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and the blackout curtains were amazing, especially when I wanted to sleep in. I also loved the master light switch right next to the bed that turns off all the lights in the room at once. It’s such a small thing, but once you have it, you really appreciate it 😂.
The rest of the hotel was just as impressive. I spent plenty of time at the pool and beach, and the facilities really added to the whole experience. The pool is quite shallow, but it’s huge and the water temperature was always perfect. I stayed on the 7th floor and the view of the ocean from up there was absolutely beautiful.
A special thank you to Prasad, Ashan, Sanjika, and the three lovely Balinese ladies at the spa. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they genuinely made an already great experience even better.
My only criticism would be the buffet. I felt that the food across the meals I had didn’t quite match the standard of the rest of the hotel. When the rooms, facilities and service are this good, you naturally expect the food to be at that same level. I think improving the menu and overall buffet experience would really complete the hotel.
Overall, I had an amazing stay and would definitely come back. The buffet is really the only thing keeping this from being a 5/5 experience for me, so I’m giving it a very solid 4/5.

Holiday Vibes, Sea Views & Five-Star Relaxation
We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Galle. The rooms were spacious and beautifully positioned with sea views, with generous balconies that were perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery.
There’s a great choice of pools, along with the added bonus of being close to the beach. The staff were attentive, efficient, and incredibly obliging throughout our stay.
The spa is excellent, and I had a fabulous 60-minute Asian facial — wonderfully relaxing and luxurious. The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing, with an impressive variety of delicious choices.
The rooftop bar is a real highlight, offering fabulous cocktails and a great selection of drinks, while the pool bar has an excellent food menu. The lovely ambience and cheerful music throughout the resort really add to the experience — you genuinely feel like you’re on holiday from the moment you arrive.

Exceed The Expectations
We had a truly wonderful and memorable stay, and we are extremely happy with the overall experience. From the moment we arrived, we received an excellent and warm welcome from Ashan, who made us feel comfortable, valued, and genuinely cared for. Throughout our stay, he regularly checked on us to make sure everything was going well and that we were comfortable and enjoying our time. His kindness, attention, and hospitality made a big difference.
We would also like to give special appreciation to Kanishka from the dining team, who provided us with wonderful service throughout our meals. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional, making every dining experience even more enjoyable.
The entire team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their positive attitude and genuine care for guests created such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It is clear that the staff truly value their guests and take pride in providing excellent hospitality.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and happily enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great hospitality, friendly staff, comfortable surroundings, and excellent service. We will certainly be happy to return again in the future!

Beachside luxury!
A slice of Sri Lankan luxury right by the beach, with delicious food, a great swimming pool and very attentive, kind staff.
We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our family holiday in Sri Lanka and very much enjoyed our time here. We were lucky to have booked a stay over the weekend so were treated to a fabulous display of traditional drumming and dancing in the evening.
The meals provided by the hotel were also delicious, with a great selection of Sri Lankan, Indian, Chinese and Western cuisine. The stewards were all great, particularly Nuwan, Dilshan and Navodya.
Similarly, we are very appreciative of the hospitality provided by the front desk staff. After I stubbed my toe in the pool by accident, they ensured that I got excellent first aid and checked in afterwards to ensure that I was well. This was excellent service! Finally, when was time to leave, Hasitha ensured that my bill was accurate - which included adding some extra discounts for food that had been missed when we had the meals.
This was our second stay at the Radisson in Galle, and it was even better than the first time. We will definitely be back.
