Great hotel, amazing views and friendly staff
We had a wonderful stay at Le Grand Galle and really enjoyed our experience.
The location is fantastic, with Galle Fort just a short and very convenient walk away. It made exploring the area incredibly easy while still providing a relaxing place to return to.
The food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing. Every meal we had was delicious, and the quality of the food was a real highlight of our stay.
All of the staff were fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful throughout our visit. They were always happy to assist and made us feel very welcome.
Overall, we had a great stay at Le Grand Galle and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Galle. We would definitely stay here again!
A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Galle Fort
La Grand Galle has an absolutely ideal location. It is just a short walk from the historic Galle Fort, so you are close enough to enjoy all the atmosphere and energy, while still feeling slightly away from the crowds.
The views are simply beautiful. From the balcony, you can enjoy both the historic Fort and the ocean — sitting there and watching the view was one of the highlights of our stay.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, the air conditioning provided just the right level of comfort, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.
But what really made our stay special was the staff. Their genuine smiles, warmth and willingness to help made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality was outstanding and truly made a difference.
A wonderful location, beautiful views, comfortable rooms and, above all, incredibly friendly and helpful people. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again.
Gorgeous ocean view. Lovely property and service and the breakfast spread with Sri Lankan options was absolutely delightful.
