⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Experience at Taj Bentota
We had a wonderful stay at Taj Bentota, and a special mention goes to Chef Dalip Singh, who took excellent care of our family. The food was absolutely delicious, and his personal attention, assistance, and warm hospitality made our experience even more special.
The service throughout the hotel was excellent, and the staff were very caring and attentive. The hotel has a beautiful location with stunning ocean views, making it a perfect place for a relaxing family holiday.
A big thank you to Chef Dalip Singh for making our stay memorable with his amazing food and exceptional care. Highly recommended! 🌊❤️
5 star anniversary celebrations at taj
We have been going to taj for last 19 years since our honeymoon. This time celebrated our 19th anniversary there wt my husband and 2 kids. As always we had a fab stay. Gave us an upgrade and the view from balcony was stunning. Staff knows us as we are regulars chamara ,sampath at poolside n niroshan at poolside took care of us while we were at the pool. Sam and janith took care of us while we were dining. They both were very kind and we were treated with yummy dishes and drinks. Hospitality of the staff is no 1 in this hotel. Most of the staff have been working for taj for many years so as us going there for many years. Taj bentota is certainly our happy place out of all the hotels in srilanka.
Things to improve. Is that I noted this time the buffet had not much of seafood and the dishes were mostly Indian
. Yes it is taj but as this resort is in srilanka please focus on the local s too. I have seen the Indian staff from the kitchen waz only treating and bringing dishes only to Indian guests and he was not interested in srilankan guests.
But after I addressed these issues to the staff they got us what we need.
Staff member minsandhi also a pleasant lady who helped us while dining. We thanked the GM of the hotel too before we leave. Please Keep up the standard s and we will see you all again soon.

Had excellent service and food from Chef Dilip Singh indian chef, we can with twins to celebrate there birthday and book this place after reading reviews regarding food by Chef, he takes personal care, had proper jain meal and suggested various options throughout our stay. He took great care even for our baby food. One day we went for chinese food and it was against great and was taken good care by Anjana.
One special call out is the varity of the jain options that Mr Dilip suggested, we can't had enough of it. Truly thanks for everything, we are definitely coming back.

Mind blowing service
Best hotel in down south special thanks to the staff namely Suranga, chef Dilip and Sam for there mind blowing service I wish the team all the best and will do visit them again

Lovely experience at taj Bentota right from smooth check in to hassle-free checkout thanks to Nishadi
Housekeeping staff Gayan was also very prompt in his services, Decorated the room so very well for the birthday eve and also on the Birthday
Restaurant executives and the chef showed tremendous welcoming hospitality, thanks to Dilan , Madhuka, Viramgam and chef Dalip who made such good delicacies from Chk curry to chk Kottu , and the lovely masal ginger tea.
