This property is situated in Athuruwella, Induruwa, on the west coast. It is 3 hours' drive from Colombo and 4 hours' drive from Bandaranaike International Airport.
This luxury, boutique beach hotel comprises a total of 27 suites. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service and a currency exchange facility. There are 2 bars and a breakfast/dining room and guests will appreciate the conference hall and Internet access (charges apply). They can also take advantage of the room and laundry services (for an additional fee) and there is parking for those arriving by car.
The luxuriously furnished suites are air-conditioned and designed in traditional Sri Lankan style. They are all carefully positioned to give guests spectacular views of the shoreline and the sea. All come with an open-air bathroom with a shower/bathtub, a make-up mirror, a dressing room and a hairdryer. The suites also comprise a sleeping deck, a lounge area and a verandah. They offer a king-size bed and are equipped with a telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar, a radio, a CD player and a safe. Furthermore, individually regulated air conditioning units are provided in all suites as standard.
This hotel features a swimming pool with sun loungers and sports enthusiasts can enjoy a work out in the gym. They can also relax in the sauna or the steam room or with a massage treatment (all for an additional fee). They can also pamper themselves with a spa treatment. Pool/snooker is also available.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We returned to this hotel after 20 years to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary at the same hotel we got married at. It hadn’t changed only updated but the friendly staff and the peace and quiet was still the same. We renewed our wedding vows and all perfectly arranged with Kuoni and the hotel staff just made it extra special. Our butler Badda was amazing and he had worked there 20 years ago too so it was just fitting to be look after so well by him. All the staff should be a create to you and the chefs need to be mentioned as the food was just delightful far better than we get in the UK at some Michelin star restaurants just amazing Thank you all well be back and try not to leave it 20 years this time

Jetwing Saman Villas has so many good things to talk about it’s hard to know where to start. For starters, they take security very seriously and don’t just let anyone in. The hotel lobby itself is a calm and serene place surrounded by well kept lawns. The restaurant opens up on all sides so you get a beautiful view of the ocean. The architecture is very open and beautiful. Before you go, they text you to ask your arrival time as well, and on arrival you are assigned a personal butler. We were assigned with Sanath, who took extremely good care of us. The food is also extremely good. Our first day dinner was so delectable. The spicy noodle soup especially was a memorable dish. They give you such a wide spread for breakfast that we couldn’t possibly finish and even asked if we would like more. Our butler noticed that we were full and even suggested that he can arrange to take our pancakes and bread to the room so we can enjoy it slowly. The spa is one of the most beautiful and peaceful settings I’ve ever seen. The room was very spacious and clean. We took an upper floor room and got a view of the ocean which made a very nice and relaxing place to read in the evening. Everyone at Jetwing Saman Villa, especially Sanath (who made sure we were always well fed and comfortable) go out of their way to take care of you but at the same time in a very non-intrusive way. The beach surrounding the hotel wasn’t very occupied as well when we went. This hotel is perfect if you want a private and intimate getaway. Last, but not least, they even decorated our bed because we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, and when we left they even gave us a framed picture of us and some sweets in a box that you can re-use as a jewelry box. I haven’t quite experienced hospitality this homely. Thank you for taking great care of us. Would definitely stay here again.
What a beautiful place! Stunning views from our villa and our own private pool was idyllic. Wirth every penny. Our butler Niroshana was 2nd to none! He made our 7 days so special. Everything about this place is sheer luxury. Would be back there in a heartbeat.
Where Peace meets the Ocean
We had such a lovely and peaceful stay at Jetwing Saman. The hotel is beautifully located right by the sea, and the calm atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
We stayed in one of the suites, and the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. What really made it special was how beautifully it blended with nature. The bathroom had an open section where you could see the sky while enjoying the bathtub, which was such a unique and relaxing experience. The views from the room were also amazing and added so much to the stay.
The staff were wonderful — so friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The service was excellent, and the food was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. We loved the food from the very first day until the last. Breakfast, evening tea, and dinner were all delicious!
A special thank you to Niroshana, who was always helpful and there whenever we needed anything. He was so easy to talk to and always made sure we were comfortable.
We also got such a lovely surprise when checking out. The team took our photo, printed it, and gave it to us in a beautiful frame along with a sweet box that can later be used as a jewellery box. Such a thoughtful little gesture and a beautiful memory to take home with us.
Our stay at Jetwing Saman was truly memorable, and we left with some very special memories. ❤️
