The hotel is situated on the Golden Mile, one of the widest stretches of beach on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It is about 10 minutes' drive to many restaurants and shops in Bentota's centre. It is about 65 km / 90 minutes' drive to the capital city Colombo. The hotel has a total of 86 well-appointed rooms. Guests can take advantage of the hotel's room and laundry services and those arriving by car may park their vehicles in the hotel's car park. All of the hotel's rooms come with a magnificent view of the beach, the Indian Ocean and the tropical sunset. There are balconies or patios outside of each one to take in the sunshine in privacy. The rooms all offer warm tropical decor and cool individually controlled air conditioning Guests can enjoy a dip in the outdoor swimming pool and refreshments are available at the poolside snack bar.

Nice property but requires lot of improvements
Its average. Property is good but service and food has lot of improvements. Specially the buffet and the menu they have for other orders is not wide enough. Looks like they lack staff or intend. Hope they improve .
A Good Stay with Great Service Recovery
Overall, a good stay at EKHO Surf Bentota. I had two bookings — 1 night in the Surf Sea View Room with Direct Pool Access & Terrace, their most premium category, which was easily 10/10, and 3 nights in a Deluxe Sea View Room with Balcony.
The Deluxe room had some issues with dampness, a lizard, electrical failure and basin water clogging. After informing reception, they offered a one-night adjustment and moved me to their top category for the remaining 2 nights, which was excellent. The effort to resolve everything definitely helped.
Friendly and welcoming staff, with good vegetarian options at breakfast. Overall 8/10.

Not recommended
Food was not up to the level. We took 2 rooms for our family. One room wasroom door was broken. We informed immediately once we entered the room. They just look and didnt do anything. Even they didnt take actions to change the room. Not worth as we paid amount. So not recommended to anyone.
A family friendly place
Great place to enjoy your time with family. Right in front of the beach..Has a big garden area and two pools. Highly recommended. Staff was friendly and helpful..Special thanks to Gayan for great hospitality!!!

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Hospitality
We had a wonderful 2-night stay at the resort in Bentota, with 2 rooms for 4 adults.

The location is absolutely awesome, with a beautiful and relaxing setting.
- Smooth check-in
We received a welcome drink and the check-in process was completely smooth and hassle-free. Our rooms were provided immediately, which was much appreciated.
- Special appreciation for Dulaj Salinda – Rooms Division Manager
A special mention to Mr. Dulaj Salinda, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He personally ensured that our family was having a great time and even arranged goodies for our young kids and fruits for our senior citizen parents.
His personal attention and genuine care really stood out and made our stay memorable. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bentota, especially families, and a big kudos to Dulaj for his exceptional hospitality and personal care. 🙏⭐
