- L'Escale Resort Marina and Spa

L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa is located on the main island of Mahé, overlooking a private marina and set within a peaceful, upscale area. The resort enjoys a convenient position just a short drive from Seychelles International Airport and the capital, Victoria, making it an ideal base for exploring the island while enjoying a calm waterfront setting.
Guests can unwind by the infinity swimming pool overlooking the marina, indulge in treatments at the spa, or stay active at the well-equipped fitness centre or yoga room. The main restaurant offers a relaxed setting, while the bar provides a stylish spot to enjoy cocktails and drinks, particularly in the evening when the marina views come to life.
Rooms are contemporary in design and offer a comfortable, spacious setting. Each includes air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, safe, minibar and a modern en-suite bathroom. All rooms feature a private balcony or deck with mountain views, with ocean-view upgrades available at a supplement.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

We had a lovely stay at L’Escale Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. After a long journey, it was especially nice to be greeted with a cold drink and a refreshing cold towel.
Our room was very nice, comfortable and well maintained, with a stunning ocean view. The twice-daily cleaning service was also a lovely touch and kept everything fresh and tidy throughout our stay.
The location is excellent, particularly for those looking for somewhere close to the airport. It’s also very convenient for visiting Eden Island, with its selection of bars and restaurants.
The breakfast was good overall, although on some mornings the service was a little slow. The hotel facilities were also very good, including a gym with new equipment and a relaxing spa.
We enjoyed several treatments during our stay, including massages and a facial massage. A special mention to Christie, who was fantastic and really made the experience enjoyable.
We also enjoyed an evening drink at the outside bar, where the staff were friendly and attentive.
Overall, we had a great stay at L’Escale Resort and would happily recommend it. The beautiful ocean views, friendly staff, excellent location and good facilities made it a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.
I visited L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa for a birthday spa day, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing, and the massage was excellent. I really enjoyed the treatment and left feeling very relaxed.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the pool and especially the jacuzzi. The swimming pool had quite a lot of leaves in it, but the jacuzzi was the main issue for me. As soon as I entered, I noticed a lot of particles/debris floating up in the water, and the water itself did not look clear. I felt uncomfortable and had to get out immediately.
It was a shame because the resort and spa are so beautiful, and the massage experience itself was excellent. With better attention to the cleanliness and maintenance of the pool and jacuzzi areas, the overall experience could have been so much better.
I would happily return for another massage, but I really hope the jacuzzi and pool cleanliness are improved.
A real highlight of our Seychelles trip. The marina setting is lovely and the infinity pool, while small, is so good you don’t notice the size. The room was good and the team were quick and responsive whenever we raised anything. For a five-star property it’s very well priced — better value than most of what we looked at on Mahé. It was also remarkably quiet. At times it genuinely felt like we had the place to ourselves. The spa deserves its own mention: my 75-minute massage was the best I’ve ever had. I fell asleep in the middle of it and started snoring, which tells you everything. The staff here, and honestly right across the Seychelles, have been outstanding. We’re already planning to come back.
